How is being able to get rid of a crap ton of gear that is just sitting in my vault and not being used a "fail"??
Most of my vault [i]IS[/i] trash that I'm holding onto for NO other reason than it "might" become relevant when Bungie arbitrarily changes the sandbox with a patch. Its just trash that I'm afraid to get rid of...and now I can finally start throwing most of it out.

They ARE cleaning up the mess. The problem is that you dont' realize that the thing you're fighting to hold onto IS the mess that needs to be cleaned up.
No decent looter-shooter lets you hold onto crap forever....and then drag it through the game forever.

One of my mother's favorite sayings was, "I don't care WHO is right. I care about WHAT is right." Or it gets stated in 12-step groups, "Principles, not Personalities." This place works in the other direction. The mob mentality is that WHO is seen as right is what matters. Its "Us vs Them". Gamers are always right...and Bungie (and corporations in general) are always wrong." Pure tribalism. So if you come here and try to advocate for WHAT is right, and take a principled stand? You will inevitably get to a point where you stand up for Bungie on an issue and against the Hive Mind. After which they'll LOSE their minds and come after you. Its like the middle school playground. Either roll with whatever the Cool Kids say is Reality....or have their entire clique and those who want to be a part of it.....come after you.

Not really. Because I’m not actually speaking to them 90% of the time. I’m using them to speak to the people who are still persuadable. Unfortunately Bungie lacks the credibility to do this after five years of misleading people. The only people who I grow weary of are the people who just hurl insults, and the dogmatic people who are blind to the fact they are profoundly closed minded. But even that passes quickly.

Yep. Been slowly doing it the last three weeks. Once I learned that the raid is 1230, I’ve been basically deleting everything capped below that weapon wise.

Lol I’m being very nice here. But I feel like I’m arguing politics with you guys (representing career politicians), where you claim any opinion that is not your opinion as “fake news”. Even the avoidance of answering a question adds fuel to that interpretation. That’s the furthest into that topic I’m going to go, as we all know where that can of worms can and will lead. But that’s been my interpretation of it both from an observational standpoint, and from personal experience in attempting a discussion.

He will say anything and everything just to sell you his idea. This is what I've discovered about Kelly Green. When confronted with a topic about Destiny is dying and will die. Kelly Green responds by saying No, Destiny has a huge fanbase and New Light gamers are always coming by the thousands. Destiny is not dying at all. In fact, Destiny is growing. When confronted with topics like Sunsetting. Kelly Green's message now is that Sunsetting is good for the health of the game. If Sunsetting is not gonna happen, the game will die! See that?. . . That is what I call a sales person. Kelly Green is sowing fear and destruction, just to sell an idea. Kelly Green is so involved with this Sunsetting scheme that he is selling Sunsetting like he did it himself. Kelly Green is selling Sunsetting like he is the one who put Sunsetting in the game himself! And if Sunsetting is not gonna happen, the game will self destruct! That's what you are dealing here. Kelly Green will clash with you like he is the one making the game and it's like he made Sunsetting happen by himself. He will clash at you like he is selling his own creation! That's all I can say about that! Bungie Logic!
