Like bungie not my fault your game glitches sometimes

9 RespuestasHuh, I'm losing? Time to unplug my router, not losing anymore.
-
You get error coded if you unplug your ethernet cable. You don't think that should cause you to lose glory?
-
3 RespuestasI agree but the argument is people will unplug their router when they are loosing. With this community do you think that wouldn’t be abused?
-
If that was implemented, what would stop some salty shitstain from unplugging the router?
-
Imagine getting kicked out of a dungeon solo run that took ages. They don’t care. Requirements are steep as hell and then the game gets in the way of you achieving triumphs etc.

3 RespuestasHince why pvp in general needs dedicated servers. Would it fix every problem no. But it would help with the following Error coding out of a match Cheaters manipulating the network would be easier to find corner and ban. Help make an overall better experience with players with bad connections connecting to players with good connections since it will no longer be peer to peer. Hit detection for bullets and melees a lot of that is because of peer to peer connections. Just to name a few things dedicated servers would be beneficial to the game and the playerbase in general.

1 RespuestaHow do you propose Bungie distinguishes how you left a match? Power loss? Not your fault, also not theirs. Your internet provider runs maintenance suddenly kicking you offline? Not your/their fault either. Sibling overloads your internet(pick a way)!
-
6 RespuestasHonestly, glory should go back to the no point loss on a loss, and only winning gains you anything. Especially with NF being sunset, there is really no reason to go to legend glory at this point.
-
Most error codes can be created by the player. It would be really simple to use this system in order to never lose points. "Oh sh*t last round and we are sure to lose the match...well then let me setup some connexion issues...and hop error coded"
-
26 RespuestasYou shouldn’t lose glory at successful tier completion, period! Put in TIER PROTECTION

Editado por Stark: 10/18/2020 11:28:14 PMThis is mixed for me.
-
Editado por Double07: 10/18/2020 10:27:14 PMThere should be some very specific error codes that would not steal glory points away from you.
-
-
This is true, but there's no way to prove whether it came from you or Bungie's side. You could disconnect your able and blame Bungie's error code. This is why they will never fix this.

3 RespuestasWe shouldn't get error coded period. Bunige buy dedicated servers, you have the money.
-
should just change ranked to only lose a little at the most but big chunks when you win ladder is flooded with hackers/cheaters/carries/smurfs etc so why not make it more fun and more accessible to the masses
-
9 RespuestasToo easy to exploit. "Oop I'm losing, I'll just go unplug my router and get error codes out." It's fine the way it is.
-
When someone on your team does too
-
1 RespuestaI agree but at the same time no, too many people would just go and unplug their router so they can just never lose their points, sadly this is needed however it will be abused
-
How do we know its not your fault or simply lying? Bad connection happens, but goodluck distinguishing that between other players who just pull the lan cable.
-
4 RespuestasDepends on the error code one gets. If it's something originating from Bungie side then I agree with you, but otherwise I don't, as it would be too easy for players to manipulate most of the error codes in their benefit.
-
“But you will! Mwuahahaha!” -Bungie
-
I don’t like when I play ToO and before the match even loads in my fire team will DC with error code “currant” This happens once in a while only playing ToO
-
I remember getting that gambit soft ban when it was rampant
-
Gotta have 1 error code that still makes you lose it The Disconnect error code for bad wifi, since that could be exploited (unplugging your wifi). If that is the exception then im all down for it
