• Thats what the standard melee attack is for Just the regular punch (or kick in this case) And her moveset keeps everything in arms reach
pun intended
• Her normal jab combo is weak and easily telegraphed. You know for a fact a Min Min is either going to try to do that or grab once you get past her arms. It just seems like you aren’t very good at reads, which makes sense for someone at your relative skill level. You have to learn how to predict the other player better. You obviously can’t just charge in head first and eat an arm. Trust me. I can tell I’ve played this series a helluva lot longer than you have

its just to keep people away but her jab combo is awesome And i am scary good at reading players movements and countering You have to be to play shulk Or else you get launched And im not horrible like you assume Cause an assumption like that requires that you provide evidence And you dont have any Im also good at fighting at high levels of damage so it doesn’t matter if i dont time something properly i just stay alive Ive managed to get to around 250 damage and still win as shulk
Cause an assumption like that requires that you provide evidence And you dont have any
You didn’t know what “f smash” meant before I told you. And you find getting close to Min Min difficult. And you think Byleth is good enough to warrant getting nerfed. Based on that evidence I can conclude that you are, indeed, a noob
In order to use frame data effectively one must memorize all of them Its worse than memorizing all 950 ish pokemon
Wrong. In order to use frame data effectively you just need to understand the basic turn order. You don't even need to know the numbers. Being plus is being plus. Being negative is being negative. Specific numbers are only important outside of that concept. On top of that, the core strategy in any fighting game is restricting your opponents viable options in any particular scenario. Once you're familiar with the scenario, you're familiar with your opponents options, and then you only need to know the frame data of those 3 or 4 options, as opposed to their entire movelist.
I play off Instinct and I win
Have you ever been against a player that utilises frame data effectively, though?

  • NOW you’re thinking like a real gamer. “hE’s BeTtEr ThAn Me sO hE’S a NoLiFe”. I’m actually flattered. I’ve never been good enough at a game for some kid to call me a nolife before. And I haven’t even clapped you yet lmao. See the thing is, I don’t just devote the time I spend playing video games to having fun. I also put effort into getting good, as opposed to you, who is content staying a casual. You are completely unable to convince me that you aren’t a casual. You asked me initially if I was a “hardcore player”. I answered yes and yet you still seem to thinking we’re at the same level when we aren’t. You are very clearly a casual. It’s really funny

I only put in as much effort as required Last i heard you were going to college I believe If you were really in college you would have no time to play smashbros I do get better at games I just dont wear myself out like with d2 Oh yeah and when i said you were a hard core player i was mocking you
gott em
But really if you try and put that much time to get good at the game you will do one of three things One burn yourself out Two barely grow because you are only whooping noobs Three actually have a good fight and grow So go get a life and dont waste it Unless you want to be living in a basement for the rest of your life

How often you play doesn’t make you a casual. It’s your contentedness with mediocrity. It makes me wonder how you look at everything else in life lmao. “I’m ok at this so there’s no reason to get better”. Regardless of what it is you should strive to be good. The fact that you don’t makes you a casual. And most of all, calling someone better than you a nolife makes you 100% a casual Again, after work I’ll clap you. You have to check your pms dumbdumb
uhhh you still have to know part of their move list
That's exactly my point. You only need to know part.
and you never know what someone is gonna use
Which is why you limit their viable options. You're quicker to react to the few options you know are coming. This is called a "mental stack", and by reducing their options, you're reducing the your mental stack making it easier for you to process the match.
ive done some stupid things and won before if i play unpredictably like an idiot im gonna winn because i play outside of the options they think i have
Theres a wild difference between being unpredictable and being stupid. You're not playing outside of the options people think you have, you're playing outside of the sensible options. Nobody suddenly forgets you have the option to do anything you want, they just know you won't if you have any sense. Doing a slow move when you're being rushed isn't unpredictable, it's stupid and you're going to be counter-hit. Sure, nobody expects you to do a slow move, but that's because nobody expects you to want to eat a CH. Nobody forgot you have a slow attack in your movelist, they just know it isn't viable.
and remember this is smash bros anything can happen because its not your standard fighting game
Smash still utilises core fundamentals you'd find in any traditional fighter, though. Spacing, zoning, frames, punishment... At this point you're arguing against the sense of every intermediate to competitive fighting game player simply because you can beat up your homies on the couch.
and why would you add math to a game!!!
Are you high? All games are math.

Ok heres the funny thing People do run into shulks heavy attacks all the time its a stupid move but it works Speed is not everything And stats are one thing but micromanaging that much data is ridiculous and makes a fun game a chore And viable means capable of success Well when all of your “viable” options are horrid I’ll take my chances

  •
People do run into shulks heavy attacks all the time its a stupid move but it works
There’s no such thing as a “heavy attack” in smash.
And stats are one thing but micromanaging that much data is ridiculous and makes a fun game a chore
That’s what makes the game fun for some people. You’re just lazy. It’s also what makes people good, which is how I can tell you aren’t
