Geo stands up, her Titan right behind. “Finally.” She turns towards the demon. “Hey, big guy, door’s open.”

[spoiler]chain 4[/spoiler] As you approach the desk, there's a faint odor of rotten eggs. You also see the glint of a thread leading towards Not Blaze, whose smile shifts to be a bit less friendly... "Very well, no games then. I am the Lady of the Unknown. A seeker of knowledge, power, and secrets for the Masked Court of the Underworld. I mean you know harm, the zombies belonged to another before her flowers wilted, and I do require assistance."

“What’s with the threads?”

"My eyes and ears, everywhere. So, you help me, and I'll help you, fair?"

“Alright, what do you need?” Geo lowers her weapon, but keeps it ready.

It motions to a stack of three books, "These are enchanted so that...otherworldly beings such as myself cannot read them. Placing them where they belong, in a specific order, reveals a hidden tome written by the Witch Queen herself. I want it. If you retrieve it for me, I will reveal the exit, and a way to escape this mansion."

“Here do they have to go?”

"My previous assistant discovered a phrase: Maiden, Mother, Crone. Use that and the genres the books belong to." It slides the books over to you. The first is titled "Bloodlust and Buccaneers" and appears to be a romance novel about pirates and vampires... The second is a parody self help book titled "Ask Baba Yaga" And the third is a children's book, "Children's Guide to Necromancy."

“And where do you want these to go?”

"Where they belong upon the shelves..."

“I mean, where are the sections that these are supposed to go in?”

"As I said, I cannot read them, and the shelves are also warded." It smiles again, "Read me the titles and I can direct you...."

“What appears to be a romance novel, a parody self help, and an educational children’s book.”

"The children's section is to the left, against the wall. Romance is on the third floor, across from us, and comedy is on the second floor to the right. Good luck!"

“Thanks.” Geo climbs a bookshelf, and heads for the children’s section.

You hope the shelves and arrive above the mentioned section. It's actually a single section of a shelf along the wall, with colorful decor around it. Also vines, brambles of them around the entrances, and three zombies below.

Geo takes careful aim at the most open zombies head, and fires.

It pops and green blood splatters about! The others start to move towards you!

Geo fires at another one, ready to back up at a moment’s notice.

You're a good ten feet off the ground, so you're probably safe from their grasp. Your shot hits it in the shoulder and it keeps moving! The two remaining zombies, blind from lack of eyes, slam into the bookshelf and you feel it wobble!

Geo attempts to steady herself, before firing again.

Your second shot pops the others head! You hear more groans and moans approaching from behind...

Geo glances behind her.
-
There are many more zombies approaching, attracted by the sound...

Geo drops down, unveiling New Rose, and attempts to crush one zombies skull with her boot.

You succeed, splattering green goop everywhere!
