You open the door and see a blank, white portal.
-
Jack enters the portal.

Upon entering the door, you are greeted with a featureless white space, with the only things of note being a colossal AI looking entity and a pedestal. A voice sounds out from the entity, shimmering as it speaks, “What is it you desire?”

"Excuse me?"

"I said, what is it you desire?"

Jack pauses . "A blueprint for a spacefaring drone that amplifies communications and has built-in weapons. Satisfactory?"
-
The entity pauses for a few seconds, then speaks again, “Very well.” You see the pedestal create a ball of light hovering above it.

Jack cautiously touches the ball.
-
You lose consciousness for a moment, then awake to find yourself in a different white space, there is a long corridor with slits periodically placed along the corridor. The entity watches from above and speaks, “Prove yourself worthy.”

Jack inspects a slit.
-
You walk towards a slit and find a black shadowy orb firing a beam that seems to drain your energy.

Jack steps away from the slit.
-
You step away but you still feel your energy being drained.

Jack starts to run down the corridor.
-
You make it a quarter of the way there, your energy is still being drained.
-
Jack activates the deuterium feed to his jetpack and uses that to propel him down the corridor.

Your jetpack gets you a bit farther, but fails rather quickly. You are 3/4 of the way there.

Jack starts sprinting as fast as he can.
-
You manage to make it to the other side, and your energy stops being drained. In front of you there is a ramp which descends.

Jack walks down the ramp, half expecting to see another corridor.
-
You see two pedestals, one of them holds a blueprint hovering above it, the other holds a ball of light. "You have a choice, leave now with what you have earned, or continue with a higher risk."

"I'll take what I've earned, thank you. I just hope it's not fake."
-
"I assure you it is not fake. Take it when you are ready to leave."

Jack looks around for a while and then approaches the pedestal and takes the blueprint. "Thank you. These ought to come in handy."

You take the blueprint and then lose consciousness for a moment, when you awaken you find yourself back in offtopic with the blueprint.
