How is removing content a positive?
Pinnacle weapons, armor sets, raid gear, build setups, and many more fruits of hours and hours of labor rendered useless almost every new DLC. Now even underutilized planets are in line for the chopping block. How is this still a mainstay for Destiny? How are people not tired of this constantly happening? Maybe I’m not familiar with major MMO’s that do this often, but their are plenty of examples like the Komodo that never even got their chance to shine with the short amount of time they were useful.
This just seems like once again we are going backwards while calling it progress in my opinion...

It gives them more room to add stuff in that isn’t content that people have spent years complaining about. The game is getting pretty bloated.

Makes the codes less of hassle (hopefully less error codes) and makes updates quicker (copying won’t take 50 years) 110 GBs is a lot of space especially for a base PS4 like I play on.

1 RespuestaWorld of Warcraft did the exact same thing. Removing old content to keep the focus on the fresh new stuff is a natural part of an 'evolving world' game.

In terms of weapons, I see your point. In terms of armour, transmog. In terms of activities, it allows bungie to throw away almost completely unused aspects of the game to open space for more content. If the removed content has an opportunity to return better than ever, we know bungie likes to reuse content so the return of menagerie or a planet such as titan is highly likely to return.

You make sense. However, content cycling is considered healthy in many looter shooters and MMOs. To me at least, content vaulting seems temporary, so people can have time to get more storage, like putting something in a storage unit before moving.
