Sacred Providence the Garden raid pulse get one with rapid hit and a damage perk, along with a range masterwork and it becomes really good in PVP. Cold Denial with Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds, Killing Wind, and Headseeker is the God Roll Bygones, Chattering Bone and Blast Furnace will all do the job. Stability, Range, & Mag size are the areas you want to focus on for the gun. Pulse Targeting & Reload mods you should put on your armour.

I don't usually like using Pulse Rifles in Crucible, but I completed that part using Bygones (Gambit pulse). Have been enjoying Cold Denial lately though, and its quite easy to throw Umbral engrams at it until you get a good roll. Also make sure you mod your armour out properly: targeting, unfliching and reload can make a big difference. Headseeker is probably my favourite pulse perk, aim for the chest/neck and let the gun climb a little. Stability might also work better for you than Range.

Vigilance wing also should still compete in this meta.

I play on pc so it may be different but cold denial is excellent.... you may want to go with stability rather than range though... killing wind is a solid perk...
