Hi
First let me say I'm what I think is average real world player. I usually work full time, have a family and all the responsibilities that go with having a full life. D2 has been my go to game, for relaxing, enjoyment, and of course fun, I usually manage a couple hours on each weekday, with a bit more time on weekends, often playing with husband.
Over the week I'd tend balance out what I played, do some PvE, a bit of Gambit, some strikes, and of course Control, with some comp if was chasing a quest or weapon, or if it was IB most of week would be there. Skip raids and trials for numerous reasons.
Then arrivals came and the feel of Control changed, and it lost fun part. Matches started to swing wildly, being stomped isn't fun, stomping others isn't fun either, and sadly the damage of the experience so far has affected even those games that are close, as I've either got a sour taste from previous game, or wondering how bad next one will be, or its last one I'm doing to get pinnacle for week and just thinking get through it and get back to fun.
I've posted a couple comments and commented on others posts, and I've seen or gotten following comments repeatedly.
Go play survival as its SBMM still. Only issue is it was the 6v6 game play I enjoy and find fun, not other modes.
They check stats say I'm a low end player, and I (or other players) just need to get good and will enjoy it then ... I play for fun, it was a fun experience, fun is not solely tied to winning or losing. I want to have fun again, just relax in D2 PvP not view it as a 2nd job to get really good at .. its part of game, sorry dont plan to be a streamer.
Or its inferred as "causal" players we don't play PvP enough so our opinions don't or shouldn't matter with a change that affects the feel of the game. 1st D2 is a massive game, solely focusing on one part is a disservice to all the work done across the board (btw the scenery is breath taking). 2nd if some of us play more than just PvP it doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to enjoy PvP when we play that too, or that our concerns shouldn't be considered too.
Hoping whole game can become more enjoyable for everyone, maybe give option for queues when go into Control an others .. that way those that say they are enjoying the CBMM can continue with experience, and those of us that no longer find enjoyment in PvP QP can go back to previous que that we found enjoyable.
Take care

41 RespuestasI agree. So iron banner will be back. No skill base. Light is power capped. Im with you, i used to enjoy crucible.... ill never play it again in its current form. It seems it only favors the really, like i don't know. I didn't think i was bad. But, maybe thats because sbmm was doing its job. I still have ok matches, every 4th one of finding new lobbies every time. Usually, just smashed on, Or our team puts a hurt on other team. Come on, this is fun? No.... Call of duty does it better bungie. Stick to pve.... and stop catering to Youtubers

6 RespuestasThe only way to get SBMM back is to have your voice heard. Make post on the forum asking for sbmm back. Like all the post that want it back. And stop playing crucible. And tell your friends and have them spread the word. Don't play crucible, Show Bungie how we feel. Boycott crucible tell your friends If you want your pinnacle rewards go play elimination or comp, let the sweats play each other this season. Ps. If I don't respond to you, that means your not worth my time or effort.

I agree. I loved control, it was fun. I’m sick of companies babying the better players. Let them whine that they can’t clap people and drop 40 elim games. They don’t need to and before any of them respond with “just get better” let me ask you this? How did YOU get better? By getting stomped on? I doubt it.

People have been asking for this since D1.
