Before I start bashing SBMM, I want to say I think the premise of it is great and I think it could work, just not in the current state of this game. Currently with this game using P2P servers there is no way to justify SBMM because it simply creates far too much lag and a frustrating experience for everyone. SBMM limits the matchmaking pool too much to the point where it will begin to pull people from anywhere regardless of connection to fulfill its criteria and meet the required “skill bracket” which sounds fair but DOES NOT work without dedicated servers. This game already has a pretty small player base and an even smaller amount that actually play pvp so let’s not restrict and limit the already small pool of people to choose from.
Since people tend to need actual proof here is a video clearly showing how this matchmaking just creates a laggy and frustrating experience overall.

5 RespuestasFunny how I have played far more PvP post Shadow Keep and have had none of these "issues" Any time I see posts like this my first thought is the Internet being used, next is the hardware.

19 RespuestasWorks perfectly well for those of us near the middle of the bell curve (read as: majority of players, we scrubs). I see zero lag issues and match up really fast. While I’m still not any good at PvP, I finally enjoy Crucible. That was never the case before Shadowkeep. SBMM is exactly where is should be.
