Just give it the ability to hit crits. At this point the gun is basically an exotic Better Devils that CAN'T even hit critical hits..... Pyrotoxin rounds are a worsened re named Explosive Payload, that once again cannot hit crits.
Shadowkeep has been great so far but I would love to see a rework of this weapon similar to what you guys did to the once dog poo Graviton Lance in year 1.
Totally NOT my YouTube

Gonna just say I agree... looks like the guns already been thoroughly destroyed in this thread

108 RespuestasWe agree that Xenophage is unintentionally underperforming and we are currently investigating. Thanks for the feedback and feel free to share any additional thoughts you have.

2 RespuestasI actually think it’s ok. However I only use it on enemies with Shields such as minotors, captains, centrulions, etc. Or others like cyclops, hydras, colossus, shreikers, etc. It’s not the kind of weapon I’d use for boss damage or ad clearing. It’s the kind of weapon I’d use to remove enemies with lots of health or if they’re powerful in general. However it does do critical damage if melting point or shadows shot is used. So hopefully that will solve your problem is you have or maim a hunter or Titan.

I don't believe Xeno should hit crits. It's an explosive weapon. The answer lies in both giving it impact damage, in addition to explosive damage, and then increasing reserve capacity significantly. It kinda sucks that the exotics in Shadowkeep, mainly the heavys, have been so underperforming. Lev's Breath could use an increase to boss damage and some more reserves, and Deathbringer's seeking projectiles should seek a little better. Feels like they just lazily fall to the surface even if there's an enemy 2 inches away.

Editado por Newlife-11: 11/2/2019 5:33:52 PMYou should only use the weapon to have fun with, it doesn’t need to be powerful. Every heavy doesn’t need to be powerful or useful, just go and have fun with it! 🤣🤣🤣

4 RespuestasThe weird thing is that this gun has potential. It just needs a significant buff. What Buff? Well the funny thing is it could be anything: -Ammo cap increase -Ammo reserve increase -Damage increase -Crits applied -Blast radius increase -Unstoppable rounds -Nuke rounds.... -faster reload This gun sounds great, feels heavy when you shoot. Its just they focus so much on balancing that the gun isn't special compare to Leviathans Breathe which does the job better than Xenophage. Fun Fact: This gun was once held by a Hunter Gunslinger named Omar Agah, one of the original Crotas end team, who was captured, tortured and killed by the Hive. Wow holding a dead mans weapon sounds like bad omen.

4 RespuestasHere’s how to fix all the Season 8/Shadowkeep Heavy Exotics: (in my opinion. The others are in good places, so they’re not included.) Leviathan’s Breath: - Increase capacity from 10 to 18 without reserves. - Decrease draw time from 1328 to 1128 Deathbringer: - Increase the maximum damage of dark descent by +20%. - Change damage scale to account for buff to max damage. Xenophage: - Increase capacity from 26 total to 68. (13 in the mag and 55 in reserves.) - Increase AoE radius by +25%. - Increase detonation damage by ~+25% to put it on par with rapid fire sniper rifle crits.

2 RespuestasIt's explosive rounds, anything explosive doesnt crit. The fact that Xenophage is going to get crits with its already incredible damage per shot is going to be incredibly powerful
-
1 RespuestaHmm Xenophage has Datto influence written all over it🤔
-
Editado por blade329: 11/1/2019 4:08:04 PMI was watching Mtashed use it in PvP. He was not impressed. It's a bad gun. Who wants an overgrown heavy scout rifle masquerading as a machine gun, with no discernible advantages over other heavy weapons? There's no situation where you would ever need to use this thing.
-
Buff and then Nerf! That's bungies method rinse repeat on all.
-
Definitely a good quest. Weapon is just bad
-
It has incredibly range, but the TTK is lower than thunderlord. I mean wtf?!

2 RespuestasEris comes crawling out of her hole on the moon and calles Bungie "I'm sueing for you giving me this crappy Xeno-gun. It wiped out my fire team". Bungie: "Bring it Eris we have better lawyers" It takes years for the case to wined its way through the court system only for Bungie to settle at the end. Bungie offered Eris to put Omar in the gun so she could always carry a piece of him, two blues and a token, and a shader with a promises to release the gun to all other guardians so they could suffer with it as much as she had. Eris accepted. Misery loves company
-
32 RespuestasWhat do you mean it's bad? It can almost kill 2 guardians in Crucible 😱
-
Bungie: in order to balance weapon gameplay for the exotic Xenophage. We decided to remove crit damage from the game in general in order to bring balance .
-
2 RespuestasOmar went down the Hellmouth with this gun? No wonder he died. He could have done better with a Hammerhead.
-
Would still love to meet the creatively bankrupt mind behind Tarrabah, Leviathan's Breath and Xenophage. Like, do you think weak exotics are fun... or...? I think throwing poop is more effective.
-
2 RespuestasThis machine gun sucks. I mean it's very very very slow for starters. It shouldn't be a heavy machine gun at all with that firing rate. And what heavy machine gun gets 13 rounds???? Come one Bumgie don't make a excotic machine gun that basicly a scout rifle.. look at the ammo drum ????? It's huge and bulky and shoots like that? Next time just send us a excotic toilet brush quest to clean up shet. My opinion and I'm sticking to it.
-
9 RespuestasEris and her fireteam are pure trash. No wonder they couldn’t beat Crota. Even their exotic suck.
-
They’ll buff it... but not until next season, they have a habit of recking things when they make a change like this too quick. More importantly... how in the heck did they let this thing drop without testing it first?... not so sure about the unintentional part.
-
11 RespuestasPlayers: "Buff Xenophage. It's too weak. Make exotics great again." Bungie: "Okay, we've decided to buff Xenophage." --- two days after buff -- Players: "Nerf Xenophage. It's OP. I can't compete. Waaaahhhhhhhh......"
-
2 RespuestasTo the people that wine about people asking for D1 exotics to return. I present to you...the last two quest exotics xD Gjallarhorn, Dragons Breath, Super good advice, Nemesis Star, Bolt Caster, Razelighter, Dark Drinker. All of these are better than our last two two heavy exotic quests lul.
-
Agree if it's not touched it will be vaulted and never touched
-
They are looking into damage numbers https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/254207001/0/0/1

What do you expect it’s the burning dumpster with a fresh coat of paint and as a bonus extra it comes already nerf ..... doesn’t that make you just salty thinking that bungie could’ve done better😏
