To those who run op gear.
I’m on a losing streak because kids like to use titans with one eyed mask, Recluse, mountaintop and truth in the HEROIC section of the game. Please understand that if you already have the Recluse that’s fine but others are still trying to get it, and when a whole team of 4 doing that you take away their process and make it even harder on those trying to get it.
Titans that run that gear, it doesn’t take skill when you run that loadout, so when you do that then proceed to emote only proves that you’re worse than a Brave 1 player, and probably got carried for Recluse. Please consider other people and what they’re trying to do instead of only thinking about yourselves, greed is what makes communities toxic and is part of the reason this one is getting pretty toxic, much like the Halo 5 community.

Edit: Okay since I have some people in the comments who don’t seem to understand what I’m saying. I’m talking about Low comp, like Guardian I- Fabled I and quickplay. Fabled + is perfectly understandable but low comp is excessive.

People will always use the things that they think will give them the best chance to win in a mode like that, and you really can't be mad at them for it lol. I agree that teabagging or emoting really makes them look silly but it's whatever, they can do what they want. As far as letting up when they have recluse or whatever, maybe they are trying to get NF or the Mida catalyst, maybe they want the unbroken title, and those things only come from reaching legend aka 5500 glory score. Honestly, this post is unfair asking players to ease up in the competitive version of pvp. Also, asking people to keep their negative comments to themselves in THIS PLACE, is just asking for them to berate and insult you. It's what they do here. Comp is a grind like anything else in the game. It takes a lot of practice, watching tips from players better than you, putting those tips into your practice, and staying focused and determined to get to 2100. If you play enough, you WILL eventually do it, you just have to stay focused on the goal. You CAN do it, and stopping with excuses about other players play choices is the first step. Worry only about what you can control and making sure you are doing everything YOU can to help your team win. The point system is set up to your benefit now, including the weekly bonus. You only have to win about half your matches (not even half) amd you will consistently make progress. You WILL have times where you lose 2 or 3 in a row and as disheartening as that is, you can't let it bother you and you gotta stick with it. You WILL get there eventually. Also, the best thing you can do RIGHT NOW, is to get a 3 teammates to run with you, even if everyone is average or worse. Communication can make up quite a bit in the lack of skill, and you would be surprised how helpful it can be.

2 RespuestasI take it you mean in comp. Not sure what you mean by Heroic but I assume comp. Now here is the thing. Comp isn't a raid or a strike. Everyone on both sides is in there to you hear me out here compete. That is the place in the game where if you got it then bring it. Use it. Abuse it. Get up shake off the dust and get some more. That is what the comp play list should be. The ranking system should be much better so that people face fewer accomplished players on the way up the mountain that is absolutely clear but this has nothing to do with players and their choice of weapons and armor this is a pile of poor decisions by the developer. In short don't hate the player hate the game.

The pinnacle weapons of Destiny, to my understanding and speaking of the pvp ones only, are not meant for everyone. Those weapons are for the top 1% of players, you have to ask yourself "am i willing to go through all this hassle for an activity that requires so much investment of time, try harding and deal with 4 stacks wearing all kind of weapons that gives them the upper hand?? Am i putting that burden over me to endure all this??" Idk my dude, your decision.
