I mean, what a guy posts at his channel is just his/her opinion. Just like any other thread in this forum and it should be considered in that way.
If bungie's criteria is based on what these people say.... that is very dumb from Bungie. Honestly.
The fact he/she has xxxx followers does NOT mean they all are thinking in the same way than him/her.

1 RespuestaTru dat. I didn't see any issues with Well of Radiance. As long as I can 1 shot someone standing in well using a fusion rifle, I am good.
-
35 RespuestasIf you could actually read, you would have noticed that Luke said they already felt that Well was OP and had to take that into account when they were designing the Reckoning, some 6-9 months ago. Datto's video only came out at the end of July. Only a fool thinks they would take one YouTuber/Streamer's opinion to alter the game.

10 RespuestasThe nerf for well is needed and completely justified

2 RespuestasIt's funny how everyone shits on Datto or general objective Destiny content creators. Datto is obviously the most popular because his videos, especially guides, DPS tests etc are very informative and he always states valid points. Pros AND Cons. Everyone here at least have seen one of his videos and took a good advice and maybe still use certain tactics they never heard about before. And suddenly the community treats him like a criminal because he only stated the obvious fact: power creep. A thing the devs alone already noticed since Forsaken and started nerfing way too powerful stuff (Whisper) looooong before the recently videos about the damn WoR and its dicussions appeared.

3 RespuestasI'm pretty sure Bungie focused more on player data than they did on one YouTuber's opinion. It's something like, "oh, goodness. 60 percent of warlock players are using Well of Radiance. Wonder why that is. Maybe it's because WoR is far and away stronger than everything else. We'd probably better balance it." I do hope, however, that they're not going to nerf its effectiveness in Crucible. Because there, nearly any other Super will clobber the warlock using it and everyone else in it.

3 RespuestasOh no! Well of radiance getting nerfed, you mean I'll have to run riven normally now. THE HORROR!

2 RespuestasSome nerfs are necessary and some are not really - a lot of times streamers will even give conflicting opinions on what needs work or is a good nerf so Bungie gets a balanced discussion. Streamers generally spend more time in the game to find the obvious and not so obvious issues it would be insane not to listen to their feedback - but an issue for someone that 247s the game versus the Destiny Dad that picks it up for a few hours a night is not the same. In theory listening to the people interacting with their community would be a far better resource then taking into account each player individually. But that said as an average player I don't feel very represented by the Streamers - as a console player I don't feel represented - I get they want the game harder for them but I don't think (especially with the huge wave of FTP players we are going to get in a few months) Harder is necessarily going to be better. For example - Last night I was watching a podcast of a group of really talented Destiny players and they were talking about how to make raiding better - after acknowledging that only 5% of the player base raids they come to the conclusion that adding speed running to raids is the way to go. No disrespect but WTF - I get it you guys want sanctioned speed runs cause that is your jam and what gets you viewers but lets see about making raids accessible to some of the other 95% of the playerbase before we start talking about speedruns for the 5%. Bungie has to decide if they want people playing their content or if they want them just watching it.

Editado por scryptic: 8/15/2019 10:19:04 PMIn my opinion, one nerf to well isn't the end of the world. As a warlock main, I do feel pressured into using well in raids and shid but tbh in most pve content I use whatever I want. The only activities I can think of that I have to use well for are the raids, shattered throne, and reckoning (and mayb some nightfalls). So IMO a well nerf would only affect those very pinnacle activities which are meant to be hard. People act like one super nerf will send us back to d2 y1 era. Powerful does not equal fun. Sitting in a well and killing a god (or whatever galrahn is) without reloading does feel powerful, but not fun. Tbh well makes enemies feel weak, not guardians feel powerful. In destiny 1, killing aksis in wotm hard mode was incredibly fun, and made you feel powerful. Even though the encounter is more challenging than your average d2 raid encounter, it still makes you feel powerful through fun mechanics like empowerment and cannons/servitors. It meant that damage phase wasn't brain dead as your team dealt with switching empowered sides. All of those unique and fun mechanics paired with the genius sound and music direction culminated in the adrenaline rush of killing aksis in last stand. Sure it took you triple the time and double the attempts compared to d2 raids, but when you killed him it felt like overcoming a challenge above your pay grade. Becoming legend meant spending 10 hours to complete a raid and then a month later beating it no sweat, not just grinding for whisper or mountain top. Tl; dr: Well nerf isn't the end of the world. Power does not = fun. Challenge can feel difficult while also beinging fun and making you feel powerful. And btw youtubers are just people on the internet, voicing their opinions. If bungie listens to their feedback alone, that's bungie's fault. I dont want to hear the "youtube isn't a real job" excuse either. If you make content(aka the videos, not the games) that people are willing to pay for, you have a 'real' job. Edit: sorry for the text wall

2 RespuestasIf the game is to easy it’s not fun.

9 RespuestasDestiny 2 PvP is basically mayhem right now. There's nothing but supers, heavies and special weapons with no primary gun use. Something needs to be done.

This deserves so many upvotes... Im also sick of Bungie catering to the streamers and tryhard sweats that are a little more well known in the community... If they really area big reason the destiny 2 launch was so horrid like im seeing people say in this thread (which would make sense) then i honestly wish them the worst... Youre telling me I played this game for years, only to have crybabys and complaining streamers and tryhards ruin it for the entire rest of the community essentially when it was at its prime? Wish i could personally take a plane trip to each idiot and give them the good slap in the face they deserve.

76 RespuestasEditado por Silent Syzygy: 8/15/2019 12:19:13 AMNerf Datto, not everyone and everything else. This game does not need to be more difficult. Instead add difficulty variants in activities for ass hats like Datto and his try hard buddies.

2 RespuestasAgreed. Stop the nerfs!

8 Respuestas??? Not Forgotten was nerfed because of whining casuals, that's all I remember

D2 right now is the easiest the franchise ever been. Well and teathers makes the third class obsolete in all pve activities.

Destiny communitymeans nothing, its same with other game platforms. The developers ONLY use Videos/ streams to get there ideas on improvements or nerfs, if the community has meant something over the years, where is Bungie's responses to the posts that people have tireless put up over the years, you don't see hardly any employees acknowledge some of the high thumbs up posts. Unfortunately the phase ''we listen to the players'' are only the streamers and videos been uploaded to ''advertise the game'' It seems the only way game developers acknowledge posts now a days is where the whole community goes in uproar over a update and the forums get flooded with the same thoughts... Way i look at it now, in my opinion just watch it go on and on and on, why post out when ''our voices wont be heard''. Only people who will be heard are the one's controlling the masses with streams and videos on Youtube platforms. listen to the community

Let's be honest it's not just that some person with a lot of viewers says it. The real thing is that so many people will listen to it and start thinking that way aswell.
-
Fücking DATTO. I swear he's a bungie shill. -blam!- ass defends everything bungie does because he's a coward and afraid to get bungie mad because he makes his bread and butter off Destiny videos. He's so damn see through it's pathetic and cringe.

1 RespuestaThey should nerf PC. That's where most of the complaints that the game is too easy is coming from.

1 RespuestaEditado por Calevis24: 8/15/2019 6:40:25 AMBalancing around streamers (professional game players) is indeed stupid if you want to appeal and balance for a large part of your population. Lebron James can likely dunk on a 12 foot goal, and Steph Curry could prob still shoot a decent percentage if they moved the 3 point line back 5 feet, but it doesn’t mean the whole league (and all other courts in America) should change to accommodate those two guys.

Right, if it was a girl posting it would be different !

Seriously right, crucible only players constantly whine and ruin the gameplay for people who play both. ITS A GAME LEARN HOW TO LOSE

77 RespuestasEditado por DeathPony07: 8/15/2019 12:08:02 AMDatto is the worst for shit like this. "Whaaaa!" "The game is too easy for me and my elitist neckbeard friends!" Bungie forgets that YouTubers don't represent the majority of the community. 99% of us have lives and don't play this shit 24/7.
