I hope Bungie isn't planning on ignoring the casual players, I love the game but I only have about 2 hours a day to play and about 4 or 5 hours on sat and sun to play.
Don't make everything for the hard core players, and make everything so dam grindy like this year's solstice of heroes with all the stuff you have us doing I'll get one character done, maybe 2 if I'm lucky.
Remember if you push away all the casuals, your lobbies well have alot less people in them resulting in longer wait times for matchmaking, and remember our money is as good as the hard core players, being a casual I have bought every DLC and season pass. I love the game but if you style it just for the hard core players I will leave for something else and spend my money elsewhere as well, so will a few of my friends that have the same situation as I have....

68 RespuestasThe answer to your question is yes Unless you are a no lifer, you will never acquire most things in the game Most activities will be dried up graveyards by the time you get to doing them Blame the elitist pricks and streamers for this
-
I hope so, otherwise I brought all this lube and whipped cream for nothing.
-
Casuals have a 2 year reign in D2 under activision while OG diehards were totally ignored.
-
3 RespuestasIt’s funny that 20 hours a week is considered casual. If that’s the benchmark, I’m not a casual, I’m comatose.
-
If you play everyday and buy every DLC I wouldn't consider you a casual
I'm a hardcore player, and I would hesitate to do this solstice of heroes gear even if they paid me. Sure, it depends on the amount, but I would hate it. No way. No thanks. I need to retain some semblance of sanity, so one character is enough for me. Also, you refer to it is less to do with being a hardcore player, than being a hardcore grinder. The difference is that not all hardcore players enjoy such a grind.

Nope they will not
-
I didn’t think there was any left, tbh

1 RespuestaWhy do u need more than 1 char tho? As a casual u dont need alts. At least not fully up to date ones.
-
Remember D2Y1, where most of the players left?
You have 4 weeks for solstice armor. Stop crying.
Editado por Calevis24: 8/9/2019 7:03:16 PMTwenty hours a week is casual? You aren’t no lifting the game, but I def wouldn’t call you casual haha. That’s half a full time job! But, I still agree with your point!
-
I would not qualify you as casual.
-
Here's my 2 cents as a "casual" player. I like you have limited time to play during the week, M-F I am lucky to log 2-2 1/2 hours a night. I play Saturday and always skip Sunday. I started my Hunter set on Wed. the 31st and completed it last night. So there is NO reason a "Casual" can not accomplish this on at least 1 Toon. I plan on completing the set for both my Warlock and Titan as well. Get out there Guardian!!
-
Well considering the “casual” player base exaggerates a lot of the content they do I say yes lmao. The casuals have done most of the content us average players do
-
2 RespuestasA casual player to me just hops on to shoot some shit and not really grind towards anything .. Hardcore players raid.. Grind for gear .. Do shit like complete seals... 20+ hours a week of game play isn't casual unless you're just doing patrols or something else that will cause you to not complete something like solstice since we have a month for it.. Again.. Thats just my opinion
-
Editado por RdDragonEmperor: 8/10/2019 1:46:48 AMI don't think the grind is about hardcore or casual. Bungie is pulling numbers out of their butts. At a point things just stop being fun to do or even drone activities. When you're checking numbers in between every mission, dreading that next Gambit match or trip to the EAZ it's gone to far.

1 RespuestaHere is the easy answer to your plight. Do what you feel is fun/ rewarding / and worth your time. I only have 3 titles, a triumph score in the 60k. 2 character at max light although my hunter could be with a couple of menagerie runs. I haven't done all the content on one character, but on a combination of 2 (Titan and Warlock). Although some activities/ content I've done on both (did foresaken story on all 3). I do have all the exotics except for the CoS. I have most of the catalyst, but only master worked a handful of them. I've completed all of the raids. I have most of the pinnacle weapons and will work on the others during downtime. I hardly do milestones or nightfall. I farm for God roll gear for both pve and pvp. This is how I spend my time playing the game.

Honestly Casual players can suck cheeks. 😂 Most of them don't even invest enough time to understand how their gear works or how to maximize your desired effects. No one but a casual shows up to a raid with 2 Primarys and a Rocket Launcher with no cluster bombs ijs
-
I remember I stopped playing the game for awhile because it was too casual. The game became too easy to get exotics or anything really. I welcome the grindier and more challenging things over the more casual content due to this. Its more satisfying spending a long time on something cool than it is spending a day for something cool. Know what im sayin?

5 RespuestasThe reason I left was because it got to casual. I play similar hours and the grind was gone 2 seasons ago! They might get players back if they bring grind back
-
9 RespuestasIf you're not a streamer or a no lifer you are a deplorable in Bungies eyes. Get used to it, they hate you.

1 RespuestaEditado por Cudd1eZombi3: 8/9/2019 5:50:13 PMLike your post. I agree. The thing I don't agree with is this use of casual and hard-core. Let's face it the "hard-core" players are simply no-lifers who don't do anything else and the actual "casual" gamers will have moved on. A lot of people who play d2 and come on these forums are actually dedicated players who simply have a life. They then get called "casuals" by people who feel the need to be rude to strangers on a forum. There's a big difference between an actual casual gamer and a dedicated gamer who has a life. The really stupid thing (as you said) players such as yourself who are dedicated to the game but have time constraints make up a far bigger portion of the Destiny community, yet they get overlooked. If all the dedicated players who have lives and know what trees and people are decided to stop playing, d2 would die. All those pvpers who feel good about themselves because they stopped "casuals" would be screwed because they would have to play each other and then what would they do! As you said bungie need to stop focusing on just no-lifers. Take everyone into consideration, it can be done to some extent. Or you will slowly lose your player base which funnily enough is already happening.
now let the hate begin because I said about no-lifers 😂
-
Its kinda gay cause casuls are the majority of players, the game will honestly just become terrible if it adds too many hardcore, or aka major time investment activities or makes the whole game one. While i agree the top teir stuff should be hardcore, i and pretty much everyone else just miss the days of getting to the weekend and chilling with the boys on VoG or other activities that were fun and not some enigma of mechanics and other boring shite. I hope destiny continues to add more challenging stuff, not make the game hardcore, or they’re going to lose a lot of people who love what destiny was and frankly should be.

Editado por Dredgen Araphel: 8/9/2019 4:27:55 PMCasuals yes. You aren't casual and you have significantly more than a real casual. If you can afford 4 hrs a day than you are hardly casual. This solstice event was just bad execution and hurt all calibers of players. A casual is definitely not capable of reaching fabled or grinding wendigo while it is still hard such as yourself.
-
There just has to be the acceptance casual players just can't do everything. One armor set is enough and the mini boss requirement fix along with the final boss adding a bonus should help a bit. Might go for my second character tonight.
