Did a little SoO today and instead of previous years new campaigns to run, it's another season of...
Go to Nessus and kill Cabal. Now melee Vex. Now go run this lost sector.
People can say what they want about Curse of Osiris, but at least it was something new and different and I'd take that story over the nothing that exists in Y2 any day.

5 RespuestasWell, that's the stupidest thing I've read all day. Curse of Osiris was literally microwaved dog shit.
-
I hear you man doing the same thing to level up is getting boring
-
3 RespuestasAs long as it has a raid it's tolerable to me. Season of the drifter just felt lackluster bc there was little motivation to hit max level bc there was no raid. I got some weapons that I wanted but really saw no point leveling n it threw off the vibe even with the outbreak mission as a bonus. The other pass releases hit a minimum content level that was passable but still needed a bit more with season of the forge being close to a reasonable amount of content but just falling a bit short (an outbreak or whisper style mission would have been the cherry on top).

Editado por pkthebird: 6/5/2019 7:28:31 PMWell it is the season of nerfs, some of super and exotic that people grinded out got nerfed a lot. So it kind of feels like what's the point of getting high power or grindly exotic if it's going to be taken away anyways? People grind over hundred hours so that tough dungeon would eventually get easier or efficient. We do the same strikes over and over. I want to get set of reckoning 3 armor with good mods on it, and even after hundred runs on 3 alts. Not even close. Now they nerf the supers and still have the monsters have broken stomps or infinite mobs still. Grinding that rest of that armor that has limited use, doesn't feel that great. It's a choir, having super being really super was fun for me during the time. Anyways Last Wish and Scourge seem to be removed...so paid content vanishes so did other items like service revolver. I'm not a big fan of raid but was hoping the Last Wish Cheeze runs still remain so I can look forward getting the 1k. Can't do that now.

Removing comments is cool too

fwiw i liked mercury. i wish it was bigger... but i liked it.

Curse of Osiris could have been a better expansion IF they made the weapons random rolls. But because everything was static, there was no grind after you got all of them. Then there's the useless garden of probabilities, which could have opened up limitless possibilities. But Bungie did not take advantage of that. It could have been some sort of choose your own adventure novel. No use in crying over spilled milk. The fact is, this expansion or whatever you want to call it, is another missed opportunity. The menagerie looks good, but I can see how it can be frustrating to solo players. If there's one thing that's common between the Reckoning, Blind Well, and the Forges, there are dumb asses and quitters with no regard for anyone except for themselves. Blame the crappy matchmaking algorithms. This may well be true for the Menagerie as well. Even with clans, this activity could prove to be repetitive and boring, and many clan members could soon get tired of it. Somehow, I wish that they created a Menagerie variant for solo players.

11 RespuestasLook I'll be nice here because people just seem to have the attention span of a goldfish or can't read or both. The pass was advertised to contain XYZ. it was well known what was going to be in the past and yet people here act like they missed the memo. It is within our laws that someone selling a product has to say what's in it. so if someone bought it and want to complain what's not in it that is their fault and their foolish to do so. I do believe however the next expansion was leaked and I believe that we're going to get a more story-based expansion. apparently we're going back to the moon and there is a new enemy base there and we're going to shoot things and loot things like usual. I need a little bit about Going to nessus, kill cabal this, loot that and get the other thing is literally every expansion we did just insert enemy factions here getting loot here and talking to someone there. now curse of Osiris? That was a story that needed to be improved a thousand percent. This man can see into infinity and we shop for 5 minutes and solve his problem because we asked ikora for help... Definitely could have done better with that one. Also relative 2 forsaken I feel like warmind and curse of Osiris don't connect to anything and it just seems like a new episode of your favorite cartoon in it's universe. anyway yeah I agree that we need a new expansion with stories and strikes and reads I just hope they do it really well the next one coming around. Hopefully you're enjoying what we have left until then.

I really hated the first two expansions and I like the Annual Pass model - but I'd be down to see one or two mini-campaigns sprinkle in throughout the year as part of the Annual Pass content. That being said I think you're giving too much credit to CoO. Half that campaign was just killing Cabal and meleeing Vex as well. At least in the AP the new activities half actual mechanics, interesting locations and powerful rewards.
-
2 RespuestasI loved curse and warmind, I was one of the few that did tho
-
There definitely needs to be new strikes/crucible maps. As for new story and location, it needs to be on forsakens level or better. Otherwise its pointless imo.
-
After thinking about it for a while, I actually agree. Although I like the annual pass for what it is, I just don’t enjoy this type of content as much as fewer, bigger DLCs. Honestly, I miss the new soundtracks that would come with each DLC more than anything else.
-
Have you seen the leaks

4 RespuestasAfter much thought and play, I feel this season is going to be very SoO SoO. I'll show myself out.
-
1 RespuestaTrue. Im pretty tired of doing the same stuff over and over again. I gave it a chance today, did the Eververse bounty, got the clan drop (had two clan bounties saved), did a Heroic mission and completed the Dreaming Citys 8 bounties (had them saved up from previous season) and the mission. And its boring. So boring. Im having a hard time seeing myself even bother with the game. Gave up on running 3 characters last season and now... Im probably not even gonna bother with my main. Oh well, Titanfall 2 and Borderlands is now downloaded. =)

Editado por Cinderchar: 6/5/2019 5:43:56 PMThey should have completely scratched SoTD and fleshed out BA more with a story, new strikes and crucible content for a similar sized CoO expansion and then did the same with SoO for a Warmind sized expansion. We literally got the same expansions again just minus story, strikes and anything crucible. SoTD was an utter waste. We paid about the same amount of money for half the content -- and the content that takes the most amount of money to make at that. All the events are things we would have gotten regardless and do no count as part of what we paid for. There isn't even really anything meta that came out of this annual pass that you would have had to pay for even.

2 RespuestasThey are

4 RespuestasOne word to make playing more interesting "More Cutscenes" scratch that, 2 words. I know it takes time but it's worth it.

3 Respuestasa new season just came out and im still bored with Destiny, im actually more excited about the Shadow Keep leaked DLC than i am for Opulance
-
It would be nice if we got a few new strikes with the season pass stuff.
-
Couldn't agree with you more. I haven't played in a while and this is the first time I didn't log in when Bungie released new material. Bungie destroyed my favorite game... not my fav anymore.
-
Used to love the d1 dlcs! I hope we can indeed enjoy some more storylines in the future. I would hop on again if it is good.
-
I haven't been a fan of the annual pass at all. I didn't play season of the drifter at all, but I am loving the new Menagerie activity. There is some good and some bad, but overall I agree, I would rather have more campaign/story focused missions. Vendors don't refresh with new gear, no new story/campaign missions, no new patrol space, no new strikes or pvp maps... I think it's great that they're adding new things, but I think there are more than enough activities flying around D2 that they should start maintaining the rest instead of adding more. But who knows, maybe the next September DLC will be as big or bigger than Forsaken.
-
I really hope something that got me as excited and involved as D1 comes out. (well in a way, I'm enjoying life without worrying about meeting weekly objectives currently)
-
Yeah I skipped Osiris and warmind expansions after hearing people say they sucked and got them later but they are 100x better than dlc that basically only gives you one activity to do and a slow drip feed of pvp infused exotic quests that I'll never finish...
-
24 RespuestasYes. But after playing through that story the first time, how often did you go back to replay it? If you're like me....you don't. I think the FORMAT for the Annual Pass is fine. I think that this slow drip is exactly what the game needs, as opposed to formal DLCs that the community BINGES on for 4-6 weeks....then spends the next three months complaining that the game is too small....and complaining that the follow-up DLC's are too small. The problem I see with the Annual Pass is that the content was just too repetitive. Everything that Bungie gave us (other than the raids) was some form of horde mode. I think Menagerie is going to be the best VERSION of horde mode they've given us....but its still a horde mode. The other problem is loot. This is a loot-game....and the game is **starving** for loot....and I suggest that people would be less focused on the content, if the game actually had cool-and-powerful loot to chase. Because the fact is that this game has a SHIT ton MORE things to do than Destiny 1 ever did. But the problem is that loot system is broken...and the progression system is broken. Facts that we keep getting POKED IN THE EYE with at the start of each season.
