In your opinion, what are the top 5 improvements/changes to the Crucible that Bungie needs to make?
Personally:
1. Super Shutdown- there needs to be a reliable means by which to shut down enemy supers. Currently you require a super of your own (RIP all Warlocks who aren’t using Nova) or power ammo.
Some supers can be shut down, but IMO, snipers, shotguns and fushions (at least the highest impact versions) should all be able to one tap all enemies out of super from full health.
2. Map Voting. If everyone wants to play the same map like 13 times in a row, let us.
3. Better Loot. Saladin and Shaxx need seasonal refreshes. Bring back Ornaments. I don’t mind using the same set of armour (saves me cores for master working a new set), so long as I have new ornaments to change the look of that armour. That being said, make the ornaments more than just a colour swap - they should change up the geometry of the armour. And for all my Titan friendos- no more helmets for shoulders.
4. Game Modes - bring back Rift. Have Iron Banner be more than just Control- maybe a rotation each season between Clash, Control and Supremacy?
5. Triumphs- just add some new ones. I like chasing these down.

Re adjust Titan barricade activation values for the faster weapon ttk values. Enhanced gear for Major Valor Resets,Comp, and Iron Banner rewards. Different Iron Banner game types. Larger crucible maps, new crucible maps. Readjust bloom and HC recoil. Slightly speed up all other weapon ttk so HC don’t get out of control. Get rid of all 180 rpm HC’s (change them all to 140/150 rpm HC’s.) Make damage referee actually work. Rubber banding guardians should NEVER be able to kill anything. EVER. Map Voting. Make “breaking up teams to find a better match” actually work. Make heavy Grenade Launchers consistent again.(Primary And Special GL should NOT outperform it’s heavy counterparts. Do NOT nerf Primary or special GL to even this out!) Stop nerfing things into the ground! Add SBMM to Comp up to around 1.5-1.7 KD. This way the lower skilled player can play other skilled players so they actually have a chance to acquire pinnacle weapons but it doesn’t absolutely punish really good players just for being good. Adding a Flat SBMM would most certainly punish the great players just for being better and making queue times even worse than they already are at high level glory ranks. Optional Vendor package choices! (Armor or Weapons) Weekly vendor weapon and weapon roll Resets! Bring back full time Faction Vendors with weekly weapons and rerolls. Add a regular solo SBMM crucible playlist. That way those who chose to play this way can. Leave Quickplay as is. (It May be too late for this because of the lower playerbase numbers but who knows, it might increase crucible numbers. Doesn’t hurt to try for a season) Reduce Weapon parts for the Gunsmith! Bring back Gunsmith packages! Remove EC’s for Infusion... Go back to Masterwork Cores! Just to name a few. And remember these are just my opinions. Don’t get butthurt over someone else’s opinions!

6 RespuestasI agree with number 3-5. I dont really care for map voting and super shutdowns aint a problem as long as you play smart. Id like to see a meta that rewards skill instead of what we have atm. I dont want to see stuff like Jotunn, pulse rifles, shoulder charge and all those low-skill abilities/weapons dominate the crucible. Instead, have weapons that are hard to master, but rewarding. Other than that give me new maps :>

2 RespuestasSave the lower third of PVP skill level in QP. Maybe break up the community into 3 tiers, lower, mid and top. The lower and top should not play each other. Mid can play all tiers.

2 Respuestas1) supers should cancel out other supers. If I titan smash and then shoulder charge a archstrider in super it should kill them not the other way around. Maybe look at the damage ouput vs other roaming supers towards them? 2) more interesting armor perks. Bring over perks from say D1 Crest of alpha lupe. Res faster etc. I'd love to see pinnacle armor. 3) map variety, not every map needs to be the size of a 1 car garage. 4) comp game modes are doodoo. Countdown is literally like supremacy. A bore. Bring back elim. 5) secret weapons. Remember eyasluna? Hothead, red spectre? Put those back in the game. You can't get em anywhere but playing crucible. No token farm. Simply crucible rewards. The chase for those kept players coming back and back and back.

1 Respuesta1. Make better maps and remove maps completely. Maps just aren’t fun to play on, the layouts are just weird and it’s unfun to play. Especially the warmind maps, they’re built weird and are never enjoyable to play on. 2. Pure elimination needs to return. Survival is dumb and countdown is awful, bring back normal trials and pvp improves imo. 3. I’ll be honest, I liked when heavy boxes spawned for both teams, bring that back, halfway through the match everyone can get access to heavy, I know it’s unpopular, but I always thought the heavy battles were fun. Just make it to where you don’t drop heavy, and in comp heavy spawns one box in the middle in the middle rounds. 4. Let me choose what gamemode to play, I can’t stand going into quickplay and not being able to choose clash or control. 5. Please improve matchmaking in terms of going against stacks. A team of 6 solos shouldn’t go against a six stack, it’s unfun, at least pair the solos with a 4 or 5 stack.

2 RespuestasBiggest changes I would do is 1. Bring back some bigger maps. I really miss First Light and those. Allow vehicle deaths again. 2. Special playlist that restricts weapons to blue weapons only. Show us that you have real skill. Show us it's not the weapon that gets you kills. 3. Have a small sector on each patrol area where PvP and PvE exist. Light level is not enabled so even the lowest light has a chance. 4. Bring back all the old types of crucible. I.e. zone control, rift, even supremacy.

We can not possibly hope for variety is every map is small to mid sized. 2: Harder to obtain supers and roaming super nerfs. You shouldn’t be able to get your super quickly by sitting in the corner of the map just because you have super mods. It should take effort to get your super in pvp and you should have to play the objective. To add to this roaming supers all need a nerf, because it’s far too easy to wipe a team once and sometimes even multiple times with a single use of a roaming super. Most of them are too fast, last too long, and can regenerate either super every or health on kills. There’s to much wrong with supers and too many options of fixing to put in a single post, but I think the fact that suicide is the best option for countering roaming supers speaks for itself. 3: Less heavy spawns and lmg adjustments. Heavy ammo spawns far too frequently in quickplay, rumble, and most disappointingly competitive. In fact, every game of competitive is just a fight for heavy spawn and if you win that then you win the game. Definitely make it so heavy ammo spawns far less frequently. Lmg’s only make this worse because you get so much ammo with lmg’s and they kill with so few shots that you can effectively get lmg ammo, then defend heavy with that lmg until the next spawn. So when I say lmg adjustments I mean that lmg’s should either take more shots to kill or they should receive less ammo. I think somewhere around 20-30 shots would be more than enough considering it only takes around 4 shots to kill, [i]or[/i] you can keep the current ammo but make it so it takes more around 6 shots. I think the ammo reduction is a better choice though. 4: A slower tkk. Honestly, who likes weapons having a 0.6 second ttk? Is that honestly any fun to most people? Not only does an extremely fast ttk make the game feel more like a CoD clone and overall like a generic twitch shooter, it also limits weapon variety since when you have such fast ttk’s you cant increase or lower ttk’s on certain weapons without making them far better than everything else or far worse. a faster ttk also creates a smaller skill gap since there’s less room to counter since you can be killed before you can even react. 5: And this is the important one. Bungie needs to be more open about changes they make before they plan to make them and do polls either in game or on the forum about changes they plan to make, and they also need to be quicker about this changes. To put it bluntly, [i][b]Its time to -blam!-ing stop taking months and months to make a change that you didn’t tell anybody you were making until you make the final decision, bungie.[/b][/i] Meta’s last far too long in pvp! I think the current meta has been around for over 6 months which is insane! And there’s almost no back and forth communication between bungie and the community about what is going to be changed, it’s just people in the community asking for change and praying that bungie puts it in, which is also insane. [spoiler]Time for an unprecedented 6th change! Suppressor grenades shouldn’t both do a lot of damage and take away all of your abilities and knock you out of super at the same time. If it’s gonna do damage, it should only do a little, and it definitely shouldn’t be able to take you out of your super altogether. Instead I suggest that it only takes away some super energy. Maybe using a weapon that matches same element do more more damage I.E nation of beasts against tickle fingers (stormtrance), trust against burning maul etc Just a thought!!
