Dropping its default reserves from 20 to 9 is completely absurd. Stealing half its ammo essentially. If the nerf for Whisper’s ammo was negotiable, I wouldn’t have minded it dropping to maybe 12, not bloody 9. Nerfing the PvE meta one bullet at a time. Not impressed -_-

1 RespuestaAgain...they cater to 1% players the High Skilled Mom Basement Dweller players. They should Remove the exotic tittle from it..put back the ammo to 50 and move it to special weapon slot. Then it will bring back the 99% players back to play this game. We play Video Game for fun...not for stress.
-
I know, I never got round to upgrading mine, so in Scourge on insurrection prime not only do I have to hit each crit spot twice and if he's moving and I miss a shot or two that's nearly half my ammo gone. I gave up earlier and switched to Sleeper, it's nuts🤦🤦
-
They don't like us having fun. Also, because they can't make content difficult to compensate for strong weapons, they nerf guns for artificial difficulty.
-
Everyone: Jotunn is a little too powerful in PvP, maybe do something about that? Bungie: Whisper of the Worm ammo reduced from 20 to 9.
-
Just wait until they nerf HC, fusions, and sidearms next season.

1 RespuestaI do agree that this nerf makes it harder especially for less pro players. I have difficulties on console with the huge flinch to hit consistently fast enough. Maybe it is easier on PC.
-
5 RespuestasRemember back in Destiny 1 when they nerfed Truth from 3 rockets down to 1 because literally nobody was using it and they really wanted to make sure it stayed that way? Oh, how about when they made Universal Remote's main exotic perk completely obsolete by taking away precision damage on all shotguns (except chaperone), and leaving the perk untouched? Bungie is well-known for half-thinking their brilliant ideas and not letting it get beyond the circle-jerk phase before acting on them.

15 RespuestasMost of the people talking shit are probably on PC, where aiming is easy mode. Snipers are a pain in the ass to use on console for some, because of the ridiculous flinch, and the fact that the sniper reticles are colors that blend into the background of the world. So, you can't even see it.

1 RespuestaEditado por Dax: 3/9/2019 4:25:10 PMThe ammo change to whisper was because the gun was over used and needed a change, don’t pull this kinda crap unless you know why it was changed.
-
10 RespuestasI have no problem with these changes to whisper. Just aim your shots an you will have infinite ammo. Take your time if you're unsure of you hitting you shots. It's what I tell new gunslingers using nighthawk
-
It doesnt bother me all that much. Inuse izanagis burden most of the time. Plenty of ammo drops for special, and it does pretty much just as much dps, and can be combined with other great heavy weapons
-
While I agree the nerf was unnessicary it's whisper... it has an unlimited amount of ammo... just need to actually hit your shots now.
-
-
2 RespuestasIf you're good the ammo nerf doesn't matter at all because Whisper will just give you ammo for free. Or are you saying you can't land 3 consecutive head shots on a stationary target?
-
Yeah I agree it was dumb and not needed. Cutting the ammo in half was a half ass way to get us to use other weapons. Not new though, they do this all the time. Instead of making other things good, they nerf something into the ground.
-
2 RespuestasYup. No fun when decent weapons get nerfed to extend gameplay. Standing on the ledge melting the boss in the Forge with Whisper is not how Bungie wants the game to be played. Hence, here are 9 bullets. Guess what White Nail isn’t going to proc after every 5th shot. Sad. I haven’t played in two weeks. I’m actually going to log in today to see Xur and buy the Hunter gloves to complete my exotic collection. Only reason. I have zero desire to play this game given the current state it’s in.
-
3 RespuestasI disagree that the nerf was uncalled for. I agree that the reserves at base should be 12, but even so, the Idea of whisper's nerf makes it so you have to be a good and consistent shot in order to make the weapon work like it's intended. If you can land your crits consistently, and get better at doing so, the weapon will be excellent. Otherwise the change was to promote using other exotics. Yeah people make the argument that other things should have been brought up to it's level. Well, then...where's the challenge in that? Raids and bosses are supposed to be challenging, and whisper's ease of use was starting to take that away. Like in the "what else am I supposed to use" type of thing. For example, now I use acrius or thunderlord for Kalli damage instead of Whisper. And that's okay. That adds replay-ability and depth and variety to the game. Isn't that the idea of a looter-shooter? Whisper's DPS and ease-of-use made it too good. Now it's in a great state where it's only as good as your shot can make it.
-
1 RespuestaMaybe Calus, Argos, and Riven called for a nerf.
-
It was totally called for.
-
Just use a grenade launcher or anything but a sniper, it’s super effective now! *sarcasm*
-
10 RespuestasSleeper and whisper have just been ruined, simple as that. bungie achieved exactly what they wanted, they’ve been doing this since day 1. Bungie like to control what YOU use in THEIR game, like I said, it’s been like this since day 1, if they were going to change they would have by now. These type of changes are one of the reasons I stopped playing D1. Respawn have the right attitude when it comes to balancing, but then they know how to make a good game.
-
People expect you to carry more reserves now, like you could even get back to base ammo on all 5 perks. It’s an even bigger waste as it’s all about those 4 sets of gambit armor, WITH 3 TIERS PER SET and no additional vault space. But hey, get gud?
-
...Uh, don't miss? Really, it's still the same strength....
-
it would be fine if the reticle wasn't so hard to see. I always lose it and miss crits.
-
Just don't miss 4head.
