Basically what the title says. Nothing is more frustrating than seeing a huge chunk of your progress disappear. Especially if you HATE doing the activity. It's bull crap, lazy padding to extend play. If you REALLY want to extend the grind keep it FIXED but a bit longer. This only punishes average players. Hyper competitive sweats will have no problem breezing through, but average players (the crucible step for Last word for instance) will be disproportionately punished. It is poorly designed. Have the step be, kill 150 players, or something. It is even, fair and not going to punish average to lower skill players by taking away progress. Or put a cap on total loss per match.

Dude, it's not hard. It only took me 3 matches...and I'm not very good.

2 RespuestasPro tip, play the meta. That means play BB because hunters are the meta. Nothing has changed, just run the best thing for mayhem and play mayhem.
-
The loss mechanic isn't the part to worry about. It's the medals that got me. Got to the point where I had my buddy in the game and I would wait for him to get killed and kill the guy that got him.

Editado por PikaX: 1/31/2019 6:01:21 AMIf you're so bad that you can't get above a .51 KDA every match, just stop playing crucible.
Seriously, though, just don't get the gun if you can't do one of the easiest crucible questlines to date.
Nothing is more frustrating than me being bad at a game and the game not rewarding me... grow up

5 RespuestasIt's a PvP weapon at its core. You should be half-decent at PvP in the first place if you want it. Literally half decent. You only need a .5K/D/A to get it.

I HATE CRUCIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But will grind for a weapon. I SUCK AT CRUCIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I'm stuck between 1% and 0%!!! ===== I HATE BUNGIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
6 RespuestasIt literally only takes 5 matches. C’mon man.

1 RespuestaI found this really easy, but does that mean it should be a thing? No. Thorn and chaperone in d1 felt like an achievement because of the challenge and loss of progress. This one doesn't do anything for anyone - it's so easy for regular crucible players that it has no impact, but frustrating to those who don't play PvP/don't know the maps etc. Pinnacle weapons for crucible are a good thing so there's no need to force people in there for regular quests. Ok, last word should probably involve PvP, but just make it a time investment.

i get 45% on the quest ins 3 games, after that i get a bad team and back to 33%, so a play more two games to back to 40%, in next a back to 35%, at this point the fun is over, so a quit and maybe i do more another day.
-
Well I for one wouldn’t want it longer as the crucible steps are easy, however they could maybe give you choice? Standard quest line or instead of the % crucible part just complete 100 quick plays?? Would that make you happy?

Editado por UnleashedArcher: 1/31/2019 2:24:54 AMFinished the quest step in 2 games. Not that hard

Couldn’t agree more. Absolutely hate crucible. Loss mechanics are horrible. If Anthem is good will probably switch too.
-
Its not even loss mechanics. It’s just not dying 2x as often as you get kills in crucible. It’s hella easy. Plus if you hate crucible then who cares about getting the last word? It’s a crucible only gun. You can’t complain about wanting to be a completionist. Because that would mean you’d have to play crucible anyways. Ya suck.

Who cares in 22 days it won't matter

3 RespuestasThat step only took 2 games. What’s the big deal ?
-
I have trouble with that part too, but I eventually cleared it. You know why? Lfg a group. Really, try play with a group.
-
5 Respuestaslol TLW quest was easy as -blam!-, you are just garbage at pvp so you want bungie to cater to trash like you, get the -blam!- out
-
2 RespuestasI got 90% in one game. Its fine.

2 RespuestasJust finished that step. Took a long time (like 20 matches) to figure out how to play for the quest, which is the problem with the death mechanic as implemented. Instead of trying to win, I spent all my time with bygones and jotunn from behind my teammates. Only came out when I was super. Once I did that, I was able to stay positive in every match, even a couple 25% matches. However, we lost a lot. Bottom line, a quest that encourages you to ignore the game objectives isn't smart. Just like the bounties that do the same.

1 RespuestaDay 1 this quest was hard. Every1 and their mother was in the crucible especially with new sandbox changes. The last word is obtainable for everyone, if your dying constantly learn from your mistakes. I seen a .3 KD learn and eventually started doing trials flawless runs. While I am one of them that use lunas howl in QP (WANT to use something new) it is rough being forced to go against this weapon/not forgotten. But there are a lot of options to counter these weapons. Not forgotten is really hard to outgun though. But aside from the point this weapon is obtainable for everyone espebially with a new sandbox.

The hardest part is the damn ritual. It never spawns..lol
-
It’s not that hard to go 50/50 in a match. If you get 10 kills that’s 20%, minus your 10 deaths 10%=10% progress gained. It’s a grind but makes it worth doing

2 RespuestasEditado por holydracoeva: 1/30/2019 9:59:03 PMi'd say i'm average to below average, if the step people are complaining about is anything like the chaperone quest on d2, then it shouldn't be much of a problem unless you are expecting to be able to just sit back and accumulate the percentage rather then actually try. from what i could tell the chaperone quest was +2% per kill or so, and -1% per death. it wasn't difficult at all compared to how the chaperone quest was on destiny. i agree with the people that are against changing that step. you people need actually put effort into that step instead of just wanting it changed. use luna's howl if you have it, use a shotgun or something if you have to. it's not difficult you just have to try harder then usual.

6 RespuestasEditado por Xc_LuxZenRa: 1/31/2019 12:20:21 AMShow us gameplay. Are you aiming? Do you have your hands on the controller? If a child can't ride a bike with training wheels who is at fault? The bike or the child? Bungie even made the Quest come alomg side mayhem(training wheels) and you are saying you cant get it done? You do you do realize this crucible requirement is nothing like luna's howl and lost forgotten right? I got it done without even realizing i was doing the quest. I was literally just enjoying myself in crucible and i see what i thought was an exotic...lol. trust yourself more. Please show us gameplay of how absurd this requirement is.
