Exotics are just a Lil too rare.
Yep I know they'll be those out there that just love to grind for everything, but there's grind and there's GRIND.
I don't mind the grind if I can see a Lil light at the end of the tunnel, like the grind for the Chaperone or Ace of spades, you know if you work at it, and succeed we'll be rewarded.
But with things the way they are now, In theory you could play every day for a year and never get a new exotic, just repeats from year one.😬
Something about this needs a tweak, as all it'll eventually breed is contempt and anger toward the constant repeat drops, and lack of new ones, Edge transit comes to mind, two Prime engrams yesterday, both decrypt into that garbage.
If Bungie can quickly fix the Sleeper due to minor complaints, they should hurry up and fix this as there are literally thousands online complaining, roll on Elder Scrolls 6 and Anthem; save me from this pointless unrewarding grind.

Finally had an exotic engram drop. I was so happy and excited. Then i picked it up to see its "actium war rig" pretty crushed to be honest.

I have done about 100 hours of Forsaken, no forsaken exotics except for the quest items and lord of wolves from wanted bounties. I am enjoying the game but after 100 hrs should have had a new exotic drop How many hours will be required to get the exotics for my three classes? There is something wrong with this rate.

You should know this game isn't gonna hand out free loot or exotics or seeds of light, it's a loot based game, I guess I should go complain to Bethesda why am I not getting all the DLC armour I paid for and the loot crates everytime a new DLC comes out. You paid for an rng based game DLC, deal with it or don't buy it and instead buy yourself a skin or two in fortnite where they hand you everything unless you can't do the seasonal 7 challenge skin reward that you also paid for lmao

I've kind of lost that excitement over seeing a yellow flash on my screen. I've had at least 15 exotic drops since forsaken started and I've walked away with 2 new guns and 1 new armor piece. Sure, it's a free powerful drop that can't be an edge transit, but I always know that it'll be the same uninteresting loot from the past year. I don't want to just be handed the all of the new stuff immediately, but seeing all the cool things be unattainable, not due to lack of trying, just feels weird.

It should be the same exotic rarity as D1 (maybe a little more rare) with the top tier weapons having the rarity that ghorn did in year 1

7 RespuestasNah just got my first forsaken exotic yesterday queen breakers and I’m good with it. None of the new exotics will change my PvP or PvE load out any way. They will just be used for infusion or put in the vault any way.

Bungie patches the mod component glitch a few days later cause if helps the players. Bungie isnt going to do anything about exotics anytime soon. It's all on purpose because people kept complaining.

5 RespuestasYou need to stop complaining. The loot drops are just fine. There isn’t a single problem with them. I have found 4 new exotics on top of 10+ older exotics (which helped increase my light level) and don’t spend an extreme amount of time playing. I swear kids will always find a reason to cry about shit. Grow up, life’s not fair.

1 RespuestaHere's how I feel about it. While exotics are nice, there are plenty of legendary weapons with god rolls I would rather have. I use probably less than 5% of the exotics that are out there. And since all our y1 armor exotics are basically useless with a limited number of perks, it's better to get a y1 that you'll use to drop with more perks then to get a y2 armor for a subclass you haven't unlocked yet. Also any y1 exotics that drop, drop as high light level gear. So even if you get a huckleberry to drop, you can always infuse it into that god roll go figure you seem to not want to put down.

Just some thought for balance, read first 10 or so and maybe someone else mentioned; but do we realize, we for the first time have to ability to buy our existing exotics (yes we had on wall in tower but way lower level) we want at a higher power (or at higher than my 380)? I personally like this b/c I don't have to waste precious material to infuse/upgrade (or at least not constantly) and I can dismantle my old ones or ones I'm not utilizing right now for material~~food for thought. Maybe I've just been more fortunate, but I've got my new chest piece for Titan (maybe not new, but I love it and gave up for jet boots) and the Queenbreaker dropped twice for me. Furthermore, it's times like these I learn to use gear and weapons that I would've never tried b/f. But for the good/great/OP exotics that the elite say, "must have (WoW, sleeper, GL)" we have them already (gear too). So if you're a one trick pony-- you are covered. [Unless, you didn't acquire them prior --then I could see your point.] Oh, what about the Prime Engram? --I happen to love this more than the exotic anyway --way higher and only cost glimmer to infuse to exact same weapon/gear (are you kidding me --BUNG has never been this generous). I get this EVERYDAY on each character! So maybe the real complaint is not feeling rewarded or excited about a bright glowing engram and BUNG missed the mark on what some ppl really play for..... maybe that's why they gave you a pet chicken to rub :) for anxiety. Personally, I feel this D2F is more balanced with flexible options than any ever b/f. [Again, my biggest complaint is lack of Fireteam Legacy!]

My problem is with duplicates. So I got 2 exotics to drop all of last week which is horrendous. I played about 60 hours. Got 2 DARCIS. I didn’t think they were going to go this overboard.

5 RespuestasAgreed. Totally missed the mark and off point from what they said their goals with the dlc were. They said they wanted to bring it back to destiny as a hobby. Welp even the people who have destiny as their paying job werent nearly close to "raid ready". Weekend raiders? How high of level do they think people who only have weekends to play are? Mind you i dont fall into that category and play more than the average person. There are 19 rng based exotics. And a loot pool that has been diluted to hell. I have gotten 6 drops since the expansion dropped. 2 year 1 armor pieces, a Two Tailed Fox, another Two Tailed Fox, and the icing on the cake the Chaperone, and Worldline Zero. And that last two piss me off. A quest exotic? Really? NOBODY wants an exotic with a static roll that they already EARNED dropping in place of something potentially new that they have no way to earn. And yes i say no way to earn. RNG is not earning. Its getting lucky. Always has been, always will be. They are throwing quest exotics to water down an already disappointing loot pool for no reason. For anyone wondering what kind of a boost those quest exotic drops gave me, they were a whole whopping 1 power level above what was already my highest.

7 Respuestas10/26: New Red Dead comes out! I am nursing an injury right now and on hiatus from work so i was thinking of finally getting D2 but it seems the game just STILL isn't finished! I enjoyed D1 but just the demo of D2 was enough to keep me at bay

This whole loot drop that Bungie decided to do with Forsaken is just poorly done. Edge transit almost every engram and the same couple of weapons and armors over and over. For a loot game, it looks like there’s literally 4-6 items. Not to mention barely any exotic drops.

I wouldn't mind the rate they drop if there was a guarantee no duplicates or exotic you already have. As is, I have just been getting year 1 junk over and over. The only Forsaken exotic I have is Black Talon.

2 RespuestasFor the record...sleeper wasn't fixed due to "minor complaints". It was fixed because a majority of the community saw an imbalance, and Bungie agreed. Getting duplicate exotics isn't an imbalance...it's RNG working as intended. You get an item, and it happens to be a duplicate sometimes.

Ran strikes like 5 hours yesterday , nothing! also the statement that ill enjoy it more when it does is BS . Gjallarhorn is dead and gone, i doubt there will be drop videos like back in the day! If i had at least one of the new news maybe i wouldnt agree here? idk, but what i do know is im lacking in the fun and the grind is starting to not feel rewarding if i dont get a new exotic toy in the next few weeks, ill end up playing a new game that does reward me with the loots im looking for.
