Exotics are just a Lil too rare.
Yep I know they'll be those out there that just love to grind for everything, but there's grind and there's GRIND.
I don't mind the grind if I can see a Lil light at the end of the tunnel, like the grind for the Chaperone or Ace of spades, you know if you work at it, and succeed we'll be rewarded.
But with things the way they are now, In theory you could play every day for a year and never get a new exotic, just repeats from year one.😬
Something about this needs a tweak, as all it'll eventually breed is contempt and anger toward the constant repeat drops, and lack of new ones, Edge transit comes to mind, two Prime engrams yesterday, both decrypt into that garbage.
If Bungie can quickly fix the Sleeper due to minor complaints, they should hurry up and fix this as there are literally thousands online complaining, roll on Elder Scrolls 6 and Anthem; save me from this pointless unrewarding grind.

Even though I love my edge transit, I get way too many of them 😅 glad they’re fixing it.

Ground my Titan to 540 and got just one exotic that I already had (Graviton Lance). Then, last evening I selected my 520 Hunter, when 2 exotics that I didn't already have dropped within 30 minutes of each other (gauntlets - Shards of Galanor and the bow - Trinity Ghoul), both about 10 above my Hunter's light level at the time.

You ain't kidding! I've hit the wall of dups too and it sucks! Thank God I had almost 6000 gunsmith materials and cashed them in and got Two Tailed Fox! But, I want to try all the other exotics, preferably weapons, then the armor! Because, Right now I feel like I want to get away from Destiny! Some grinding is okay, but when it becomes a Bore, then you lose gamers! Not a good move Bungie! All Bungie has to do is a tweak to increase drop rates and lower the dupe rates, not hard at all! Plus, it doesn't have to be a large tweak either!

6 RespuestasI've gotten y1 and y2 exotics.In rare ocassions but its exactly how it needs to be "rare".If bungie hands to you easy grind and go to the next thing,all you'll do is plan what game you going to play next because it will not be destiny.They did what you are currently asking on d2 y1 and see how it worked out.People left.//People like me got bored.I work every day for 8+ hours.When I get to play,I play a couple of hours.Im fine with what I get.Reason is that I want my experience with destiny to last and to be exiting.That is what happens when you get exotics now.How it happened in D1.Now exotics are exotic again and with a power increase that we lost in Y1.So your argument is invalid to my perspective.Embrace RNGsus and keep playing.Eventually you'll get what you want and would be exited about it then move to the next thing you want.So build that excitement up.
