We’re aware of reports that Sleeper Simulant feels strong in Gambit. The Sandbox team is currently looking at potential changes to help with this. We want to retain the strength of the weapon, but tune it so it doesn’t feel to be the only viable power weapon in this mode.
We’ll provide more details when possible. Stay tuned to official channels for updates.

2 RespuestasWell, scout rifles are pretty bad in gambit. Maybe you could nerf sidearms a little and make scout rifles useable. Feels like the only decent weapons are sniper rifles and rocket launchers and the Trust

5 RespuestasTo the people who say you shouldn’t be out in the open when invaded. Picture this. I was just minding my own business collecting motes and got to around 12. Mid-collecting we’re invaded and knowing I’m on a high number of motes, I begin to run towards cover. Before I go 1m I’m OHK from the other side of the map from a guy with sleeper. I couldn’t do anything. I’m not saying nerf it. I’m saying maybe heavy ammo should be restricted when invading. Also maybe tweak the seeing through walls ability the invader gets. Idk how but that’s just my opinion.

I really am against nerfs and such but I will admit it's pretty nuts in gambit. I say limit the heavy ammo for it. Like one shot? But this would be applied to all snipers / fusion rifles. Or make it only headshots one shot? Nothing really should be nerfed because you can technically work around it to some degree but it is not fun with it. I personally would like heavy weapons locked out of all pvp modes but that's just me. I'm trying to be on both sides. Or remove the invader at knowing where peeps are. Just dont start slamming nerfs. I want my guardian to feel badass. Civil options are there.

No Nerf is needed to the sleeper if you guys just allowed the invader to see everyone for the first 5 seconds on entering, then it would be fine.

Stay tuned to official channels for updates.[/quote] remove this piece of shit from Gambit I'm so sick of people staying way in the back where you can't hit them using -blam!-ing auto assist to kill everybody on the team it's not fun is not challenging I can easily pull out my sleeper simulant and do the same thing but the game mode isn't called sit in the back with sleeper.

10 RespuestasI've been playing Gambit since it came out, and for me it's unenjoyable due to almost 100% of players running with sleepers. It ruins the whole idea of Gambit, whole competetive aspect, ruins the fun and excitement when you can be oneshot from the edge of the map (or you can oneshoot the enemy). It's totally ridiculous and in my opinion Sleeper should be nerfed more than Bungo's told us about. Bungo is afraid of a bunch of 'pro Gambit players' and lobbying reddit retards crying to leave Sleeper alone because it's the only weapon they can score some kills, but of course they won't admit it. Its effective range should be at least halved, it's a freaking fusion rifle, not a rocket-sniper-fusion-something rifle with an effective range higher than Elon Musk's hopes of building something on Mars until 2050 or something. Gambit should be PvE mixed with Crucible, like I thought it would be from seeing Bungos trailers and interviews, not a oneshooting minigame with a small addition of monsters and mote gathering. Moreover, the matchmaking SUCKS and I mean it! Almost half of matches I play in Gambit looks like this - we're losing so someone or even 3 peeps leave the team because they're freaking cowards and a bunch of snowflakes focused only on winning who can't stand losing a single round of Gambit. Not to mention their skills...Most of the teams I'm paired with are freaking noobs, they don't know how to play, thinking it's a team deathmatch or something and on the other side there's almost everytime a team (not even a clan team) of people not having to carry the rest, but doing their jobs instead, and knowing how to play. I don't know how and why matchmaking looks like this, but I think it should be changed to matchmake players of the same team and pair different competing teams against one another with the same or at least similar skills/stats for the matches to be really fun, competetive and enjoyable. Finally, Bungo needs to punish those leavers I mentioned earlier by, for example, making one unable to play Gambit for 10-15 minutes after leaving a match intentionally. Such retards ruin the whole experience even more! What is more, in nearly 90% of matches I've played, whenever someone left, the game didn't place a new player on the empty slot, so it looked like 2v4, 3v4 etc. FOR A WHOLE MATCH OF GAMBIT and just not a single round. If someone 'language sensitive' feels bad after seeing some 'bad' words, I can say just one thing 'sorry, but it's a harsh truth and I'm as honest as I can'.

What if players needed to have motes to get invader bonuses? Like 5 motes for shield 10 motes for the see people through walls thing and 15 for an extra 5 sec or something? Add risk and reward for invading

Sleeper is still broken in Gambit. Just remove it from this game mode.

Has the auto assist already been nerfed? Still only being killed by and admittedly kill with Sleeper. I have noticed no change is use and amount of usage.

Straight up lock it out of Gambit, it’s busted because of how invasion works. And just a reminder, if you main Sleeper in Gambit, you’re the scum of the earth and should get your rank locked to 0.

I rarely post. I never used sleeper until I read in these forums that it was overpowered. Not once. I just thought skilled people were using it. They are not. I first used it the same day there was a bounty for fusion rifle kills- I always used tracking rockets, got a few lucky shots off here and there, but never anything significant. My impression after many games using sleeper- it is indeed overpowered. I’m not a skilled player, but I got 13 of you in one game alone, and about 70 of you all day. It’s sticky as hell. At mid-range it will stick and track even if you are jumping or gliding mid-air. I body-mapped people at such an extended range, that there has to be zero damage fall-off. It’s OHK. It also deals heavy boss damage, and using heavy ammo finder perks, there’s really no shortage, or need to even camp the ammo spawn. And I was picking up three per brick! Problem is that everyone is at a disadvantage for not using it. It’s very easy to use. There’s no learning curve like a good sniper. It’s very effective at dealing damage. The ammo economy is plentiful. Spawning your opponents play-field with an over-shield is unfair. Being able to wall hack your opponent is somewhat unfair. Being able to see how many motes your opponents are carrying is grossly unfair. If I invade, and you have zero motes, you are the last person on my sleeper list. I might still get you, but you’re last. I think most people realize they are a target holding 15 motes, so they don’t/won’t. I myself do not collect motes unless they start blinking, then I’m shit, I guess I have to pick them up. It’s not a feels good moment getting mapped holding 15 motes, knowing your enemy with an over-shield is targeting your ass at spawn. I think leaving the weapon untouched would be fine if you only get one shot per brick and two per ammo spawn pull. I also think hiding how many motes your opponent is carrying should be implemented. I shouldn’t be able to map you with an unskilled hand just because I see the number 15 next to your name. I think that team invasions are obnoxious while you are fighting multiple adds and your boss, and every 30 seconds you’re getting invaded. It’s too much, and it adds up to shit when you lose against stacks repeatedly for 30 infamy points and a blue engram. On top of that, the gear sucks and is hideous. I’m sorry, but I rarely see anyone being glamorous with this gear. No shader can un-ugly this gear. The weapons are the only decent gear. Only the boots with dynamo have any value. It’s a shitty grind going solo. And I have 13k points and I still have not had the hand cannon drop. But thanks for all the under-leveled capes and boots and my end match blue drops. I’m going to reset once, then I’m done. This isn’t as satisfying as crucible.
