In just mere days, Destiny 2: Forsaken will arrive, ushering in a host of new experiences and major upgrades aimed at transforming nearly every aspect of the game. We’ve already spoken a lot about Forsaken’s key features and updates, but we wanted to take a moment prior to launch to provide you with some additional details about what you can expect beyond day one. To tee up that conversation, we’ve recruited a handful of developers to take you through our plans, from the 2.0 update that went live today, through our current plans for seasons and the annual pass.
Seasons of Change
Destiny 2: Forsaken kicks off the Season of the Outlaw. Once you’ve completed the campaign, hunted down the Barons, secured some of your favorite new weapons, and explored the new worlds and the challenges that await, you can expect to see us continue updating the game with new activities and rewards. We’ve also hidden away many surprises for you to discover, and the information and roadmap below aren’t intended to spoil them, but rather to give you a broad sense of what’s to come.
After Season of the Outlaw concludes, each subsequent three-month Season will usher in a month-over-month roll out of new experiences, events, rewards, and activities, most of which will be available for free to every Destiny 2 player.
Annual Pass
The Forsaken Annual Pass is different than the traditional post-launch Destiny expansions we’ve delivered in years past. Black Armory, Joker’s Wild and Penumbra will offer a range of different experiences that consist of new endgame activities and modes, discovery, and challenges that escalate, ebb, and flow over time, with each offering prestigious rewards.
Annual Pass content will release throughout the year, working in concert with our free Seasons to help keep the world alive and fresh. Black Armory, Joker’s Wild, and Penumbra each deliver multiple beats that span the length of a given Season. We believe the overall experience will feel markedly different to Destiny players, in a really good way.
Below is our first Forsaken-era post launch roadmap. It includes a short hit list of what you can expect in the coming weeks, and a look at what’s on tap in the months beyond. Once again, it’s not intended to spoil the surprises, but it should give you a good idea of our commitment to supporting Destiny 2 in Year 2.

Like our previous roadmaps, we’ll continue to update you with additional details and changes as these experiences continue to shape up and come together.
Keep an eye out for more detailed scheduling and information covering the Season of the Outlaw soon, and more information about the follow-on seasons and Annual Pass in the months ahead. As always, we’ll be listening intently to your feedback, updating the game with an eye toward continuous improvement, and playing and experience the game as part of this remarkable community.

Give a idiot a shovel and stand back and watch him entertain you with his stupidity as he dig a hole for himself with his own words. So I think it about time you morons at bungie should start digging yourself out of a hole that you created .... instead of sweeping it under the carpet like usually do

11 RespuestasSo only four story missions, not even close to taken king levels of story and gravity.
-
This DLC is a joke just artificial grind gambit was fun for 2 matches cause it's the same bullshit as regular crucible. Story was short as hell. Glad I didnt buy annual pass.

5 RespuestasSo basically, you are scaling back on the additional content offered in previous expansions - I pre-ordered the season pass but I have a feeling I will regret it...I am quite sure these future expansions will be exactly what we got with Curse Of Osiris... Maybe re-think your marketing strategy in the future and offer PVP as a separate mode that can be actually be purchased separately - I am really tired of being forced into this PVP trash because of sandbox exotics and quests...I play this game for PVE, like most people do...

Is this an error? Annual pass was 40$ canadian its now 46.99$ Canadian. I already paid the 53.49. Thts more than the annual pass and expansion bundle on psn now. Annual pass bunde is 93.49. Thats why I am asking cause the Annual pass alone should only.be 40$. Wtf is going on with the prices atm? Bungie explain yourselves asap. This is an error on pricing. This needs to be fixed. Thanks.

4 RespuestasMy only advice to the few of you that remain here that haven’t pre ordered and are reasonable people: WAIT FOR THE REVIEWS. Wait till the post-launch hype dies down for the REAL reviews. Wait a few weeks at least until ppl run out of stuff to do, then see what people are saying about it. If you’ve pre ordered and Bungie has you wrapped around their fingers, disregard. Carry on.

2 RespuestasSo not only are you continuing the raid-lite "lairs", but it appears that you are also going to extend the time between new lairs from around 3 months to closer to 6 months?

Beyond launch we get more -blam!-ing reskins love it 🖕🖕🖕

I've heard that exotic and legendary engrams are very hard to come by. The armor is just reskinned HOW from D1 and TTK expansions.... "Shocker" Mastercores are need to infuse armor now on top of weapons oooo by the way these are even harder to come by!?@&# Who thought this was a good idea?!.....

2 RespuestasThis is a first time feeling for me. I always preorder Deluxe Editions with season passes etc. This time I didn't and had apprehension about not jumping in on the first day. I never join in the "which weapons need nerfing or buffing" type of talk, change is change (however i'll take my original Gally and Armamentarium any day). Back to the first time, after seeing so many posts and seeing the same infusion/GRINDING system incorporated into Year 1 Destiny 2 . I am so glad I don't feel the anger, frustration etc at spending $80 this time. I'm HAPPY to say Bungie I'll play this round when it's "Dirt Cheap" :-)

Can't play competitive now due to your shitty as servers and me getting disconnected for not completing matches. Its not my freaking fault. Oh well. Maybe if they fixed their laggy ass servers I would be able to play competitive and not have a temporary ban. Yup. Huge bug or glitch going on here.

11 RespuestasThanks for making us pay for features we bought in D1 that was taken away and now returning for more money. Thank you Bungie you are so awesome!

14 RespuestasEditado por Zambrick: 9/2/2018 1:14:33 AMThe more I read this the more confused I am. So you buy an expansion at full price. Then when the "season" starts, do you get to participate? Does Forsaken include Jokers wild? Does each expansion include that seasons content with it? Or is Forsaken an expansion at full price and are the seasons the content for the year and we dont get another expansion until next year? How the hell does any of this work? Do you buy each expansion throughout the year and then on top of that you have to pay for each season? How is this a better model if thats the case? Its like a subscription service or an MMO monthly/yearly fee. Why would you charge more money for less content and expect people to be happy about it? Are you purposfully being vague in hopes people will just give you money just in case that is the way it works? If you bought the 38 dollar expansion Forsaken, are you S.O.L. for any of the content we are supposed to get throughout the year? None of these questions are answered and from what it looks like Bungie is double dipping into the gamer's wallet yet again. First off it was charging a season pass for year one and only giving one real expansion. Secondly the fact that everything cool looking was locked behind Eververse and its online gambling RNG style of content wall. So basically my 38 dollars payed for some single player missions and a single raid. Everything else you have to pay even more money for. Why not just go ahead and release a completely new Destiny game every year like Call of Duty or Madden? At least people know what they need to purchase to get the actual game.
