In just mere days, Destiny 2: Forsaken will arrive, ushering in a host of new experiences and major upgrades aimed at transforming nearly every aspect of the game. We’ve already spoken a lot about Forsaken’s key features and updates, but we wanted to take a moment prior to launch to provide you with some additional details about what you can expect beyond day one. To tee up that conversation, we’ve recruited a handful of developers to take you through our plans, from the 2.0 update that went live today, through our current plans for seasons and the annual pass.
Seasons of Change
Destiny 2: Forsaken kicks off the Season of the Outlaw. Once you’ve completed the campaign, hunted down the Barons, secured some of your favorite new weapons, and explored the new worlds and the challenges that await, you can expect to see us continue updating the game with new activities and rewards. We’ve also hidden away many surprises for you to discover, and the information and roadmap below aren’t intended to spoil them, but rather to give you a broad sense of what’s to come.
After Season of the Outlaw concludes, each subsequent three-month Season will usher in a month-over-month roll out of new experiences, events, rewards, and activities, most of which will be available for free to every Destiny 2 player.
Annual Pass
The Forsaken Annual Pass is different than the traditional post-launch Destiny expansions we’ve delivered in years past. Black Armory, Joker’s Wild and Penumbra will offer a range of different experiences that consist of new endgame activities and modes, discovery, and challenges that escalate, ebb, and flow over time, with each offering prestigious rewards.
Annual Pass content will release throughout the year, working in concert with our free Seasons to help keep the world alive and fresh. Black Armory, Joker’s Wild, and Penumbra each deliver multiple beats that span the length of a given Season. We believe the overall experience will feel markedly different to Destiny players, in a really good way.
Below is our first Forsaken-era post launch roadmap. It includes a short hit list of what you can expect in the coming weeks, and a look at what’s on tap in the months beyond. Once again, it’s not intended to spoil the surprises, but it should give you a good idea of our commitment to supporting Destiny 2 in Year 2.

Like our previous roadmaps, we’ll continue to update you with additional details and changes as these experiences continue to shape up and come together.
Keep an eye out for more detailed scheduling and information covering the Season of the Outlaw soon, and more information about the follow-on seasons and Annual Pass in the months ahead. As always, we’ll be listening intently to your feedback, updating the game with an eye toward continuous improvement, and playing and experience the game as part of this remarkable community.

4 RespuestasI guess my confusion is what was free? What’s in the $40? And what’s in the Annual Pass? You can’t just say “activities”. That could be anything. The details bruh. We need them.
-
2 RespuestasI feel as if a lot of our random rolls are duplicates. Maybe add more of the older weapons to give more variety/archetypes? Good job on Forsaken as well.
-
3 RespuestasIn just mere days.. the entire community is on flames hoping they can get a refund Meanwhile cheaters are free to go 😂

I just wish those Barons were a bit tougher and more important to the story line there. Other than that, Dreaming City is my favorite place to go to in Destiny history. Great work with that place honestly.
Nerf the Wraith's health bar?
The update and dlc has changed the game in so many ways for the better and I want to pass on my thanks 🙏. I’m quick to complain about things and I think it’s only right that you receive the praise. Crucible is enjoyable again, plenty of things to do. Solo and group play supported, exotic quests for guns that feel exotic. Luna’s howl for the pvp monsters which I will never get but that’s fine bcos I’m not good enough. All in all I’m very happy with the dlc and patches etc. Strides in the right direction

43 RespuestasI’m glad that I don’t preorder content from Bungie any longer. You guys just continue to -blam!- shit up. Bungie needs a complete management overhaul. This weapon system is pitiful. Also, -blam!- the streamers that you seem to cherish so much. How about taking feedback from the normal members of your community. Done with this game.

1 RespuestaStill haven’t bought it yet. Looks ok but I ain’t biting. I will wait the month and see what I think then.
-
Titan 508, 5 crucible matches played for the powerful engram and it drops boots at 500. Horse shit again.

5 RespuestasIf you don't buy the DLC, what is the max XP Lvl and Power Lvl you can reach?
-
Lets not get ahead of ourselves now. Let’s work on the game now.

19 RespuestasEditado por Zambrick: 8/30/2018 7:21:06 PMSo what did I just buy? I bought the 38 dollar Forsaken Expansion. Does that mean all I bought was 10 missions or less for 40 bucks and the real meat of the Expansion is behind yet another pay wall? So you either buy the expansions at full price and then the anual pass at full price, or you get nothing? You need to do a better job of explaining yourself. So if it does indeed mean that the expansion I bought means nothing, then I will want a refund very quickly. 38 dollar gets you some single play missions another 35 dollars on top of that will get you any of the gear, events, or PVP. You should have said spend 73 dollars now or you get absolutely nothing. Remember that they called Osiris an "Expansion" so excuse me if I dont trust them any longer.

Fix your product

Credit earned where credit is due to the marketing department, they sure know how to put on the razzle dazzle. Shit, I bet they could even sell mud to landslide victims. Well done fella's.

15 RespuestasSome people are just never happy as proven by the cry baby comments on this post. Personally, I absolutely LOVE this DLC!!! The grind is nice! Gambit is very fun! The new locations finally have some substance. The collections and triumph tabs were a beautiful sight! Shader deletion ×5 is pretty sweet (shoulda been at 10 but whatever.)!! Random rolls on armor...well any perk for that matter...is a blessing!!! THANK YOU BUNGLE!!!! I really love this DLC!! (Just dont fkkk up D3 as bad as D2 vanilla.)

1 RespuestaI’ll say it again: Everything should be matchmaking without fire teams. Yes you screwed up pvp and took it in the wrong direction but the requirements to get the full content of Destiny 2 is not acceptable. This is your major flaw if you still can’t see it. I’m enjoying what I’ve played of your free release of D2 so far but I knew immediately I made the right choice of not purchasing D2 upon release when I needed a fire team to enter nightfall. This is why forsaken sales I’m guessing are well below expectations. Sorry can’t buy it if I can’t play it. (Sorry folks thousands of people don’t want to jump through hoops)

9 RespuestasBungie had yet another chance to save this dying game. Once again they failed. Bungie is a crap company that should be put out of business.
-
Please cut down on the pvp garbage. Clan xp, axe of spades, deleting stuff and getting pvp bounties.... Otherwise everything else about this dlc is a great step forward.
-
2 RespuestasIs there only a single Iron Banner event available per-season?
-
2 RespuestasIs the penalty for progression for having two of the same class still in effect? And if so, anyone know what that penalty is? How severe?
-
1 RespuestaOnly complaint I have is clan bounties. If that's the only way were gonna be able to earn clan poi ts then you guys need to have bounties for both PvE and PvP. I dont -blam!-ing understand why we have to got through this constantly, dont -blam!-ing force people to play crucible or pve if they dont want to. Especially for something like -blam!-ing clan XP. This is a massive problem, I should be able to earn xp for my -blam!-ing clan every single day. Not just on the days your -blam!-ing RNG spits out pve bounties. Other than that great expansion. But get the clan shit fixed.

Where is the strike "the corrupted"?
-
Don’t give me the incomplete match message when you decide to put me in an ongoing match in which one team is mopping the floor with the other team
-
2 RespuestasSo annual pass will work just like y1 season pass .... give you next to nothing? Couple story missions and reskinned weapons lol
-
Pretty sure I got eye cancer scrolling this thread ....
