I also want the Pocket Infinity back, but I fear that Bungie may deem it overpowered so:
1) Its signature perk is broken in the bad way. In my frequent use of it I noticed that it would refund me ammo that I just killed someone with where as it is only supposed to refund missed shots. I think it's something about counting single bolts as missed shots and therefore tries to trigger the perk.
2) It can get insane kills sometimes thanks to its signature perk, but is very inefficient ammo wise as users will often be camping ammo boxes or specing for max fusion ammo .
3) But it's base stats are very low making all of the perks in the middle tree useful, a trait shared by little other exotics.
In summary, the only change needed is a fix to the signature perk, which may be easier said than done.

#1 is wrong. The perk only refunds ammo if at least 4/7 bolts miss the target, counting as a missed shot. The gun is one of the most balanced in the game requiring good skill and ammo management.

If you have never experienced it yourself, who can blame you, but I have killed full health guardians and been refunded the ammo. It's something you have to experience yourself I guess.

To be honesy, I don't think this is a problem. If someone if camping special, it'll be easy to kill them. Also all special weapons can have ammo for the rest of the game anyway.

Have you even used the Pocket Infinity? It shoots ammo like you would pay a stripper.

Yes, I enjoyed it throughly. But the down time for not ammo is a good trade off for the insane damage output

And I agree, but in this meta, not having special ammo will get you killed.

The horseman?, thats taking it a little far lol

It's one of the best super killers and it has no problems with ammo because of the crate spawns.
