The moment Destiny was announced I, as well as a slew of other Bungie lovers, gave all my support to this game. Of course i pre-ordered the game with its season pass. Like a lot of the loyal followers, my trust was crushed when Bungie asked for my first born child when Taken King was released. I feel that same feeling right now cause they want my left nut for Rise of Iron. Why am i $170 into this game? When band wagon gamers are getting into everything today for $60?

This is like me complaining about how I bought Halo: CE (twice - original and anniversary editions), Halo 2, Halo 3, HALO 3: ODST, and Halo 4 over the years, but people were able to buy all for the low price $60 as a part of the MMC collection.. Or that people bought the premium edition of BF4 - only to see EA handing out the DLC for free Or people that bought Titanfall plus the additional DLC only to see the DLC being handed out for free If you feel as if you're being punished, especially after having your trust crushed last year when TTK was released, then there are other games that you can play.

Editado por The New Monarch: 9/21/2016 1:12:59 AMOh my....is this how you act whenever you buy something? That car you bought new...A year later someone bought it off the lot for a lot less because the dealership had to make room for newer models. Those shorts you're wearing...Someone bought them on clearance because they picked them up at the end of the season. EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. That is ever released drops in price as the months and years pass. Why in the world would anyone pay as much as you when you made the choice to buy it new and experience it when it was fresh and highly anticipated? That is the price of early adoption, that is your choice for paying for something new. If you are honestly upset, it is your own fault.

1 RespuestaBecause that's how simple economics works
-
Holy hell, do you not realize that you got 2 years worth of gameplay experience for your purchase? 'Bandwagoners' get none of that. They'll most likely plow thru that year 1/2 content just to get to the new stuff or use that spark to skip some of it. I defy you to find a two year old game that is still on sale for full price.

1 RespuestaYou have all the memories of the loot cave, Rahool trolling, VoG blind etc. All the good times with friends over the course of these past years is something the Iron Pups can't buy with any amount of money. Consider yourself lucky to be here from the beginning; not ripped off.
-
entitled causal.
-
You're being punished because after 2 years you should know better by now.
-
So you want bungie to sell it all for 170 dollars even though there is barely anyone playing VoG, crota, poe, and kf. 95% of the community will be focused on RoI, anyone who buys the collectors will never experience any of those old activities in the same way as when they first went live. Most of that content is irrelevant to max light at this point. Grow up and welcome to the real world, stop being a self entitled year one player, no one's punishing you except for your own ignorant thoughts.
-
You payed to be among the first to experience it lol Those people buying it now are not gonna go back and do everything and can't get all kinds of stuff because they weren't here
-
Smh how lonely are you bro!
-
Because more than half of what they're paying for isn't even relevant anymore. I'm perfectly fine paying 170 to play the expansions when they actually meant something. VoG Crota POE and now Kings Fall are for the most part pointless.
-
I feel like this post is making fun of me but idk. Made this post a while back but it was concerning Day One Player Rewards and that flew over every taken-tots head.
-
have you enjoyed the last 2 years!? that $100 extra has got you something that someone new to the game will never get... the ups and downs we've all faced over the last 24 months!! loot caves, Rahoo trolling, forever 29, the heavy drought of '15, Sparrow racing for ether chests, raid cheeses and much MUCH more!! for me and the time I've spent with my clan through all the above, it's been priceless
-
Yeah dude. You totally should have waited until now to buy the game. What were you thinking? Never mind your hundreds of hours of gameplay. That was not worth the price you paid. When Destiny 2 comes out make sure you wait two years before buying it. Make sure you only watch all your friends having fun and playing it. Then when you finally buy the game, you can laugh in their faces at how much money they've wasted. And what will they have to show for it?
Oh, that's right. Hundreds of hours of gameplay with friends.
1 Respuestahaven't played this game in months, came on the forums to watch the tears, butthurt, and complaining. Not disappointed AT ALL. My s**t work day is better now. Expecting anything decent or rewarding for day 1 players from this game is like asking for the unaltered Star Wars trilogy on blu ray. It's not gonna happen because the corporation doesn't care. People continue to buy the multiple repacks, steelbooks, 3D releases of Star Wars, and the Destiny fanboys will throw money instantly and preorder digital content months in advance for some worthless item. Why should they try and do anything creative if idiots will just buy whatever garbage they release.
-
1 RespuestaYou mean to tell me they discounted old content years after it was released? What a dick move.
-
Breh, this bait has been used a dozen times this week already. Get some new material

Day 1 player....lollllll no way

Editado por Con: 9/20/2016 7:03:24 PMUhhh because the game was JUST coming out back then? They can offer all of the existing content at a discount because it's out of date and they already made a profit off of Vanilla -> TTK. This is almost standard practice in a number of different multimedia industries.
-
You act like $170 spread out over 2 years is a lot of money.
-
Absolute idiot.

If you like a game and it's DLC content why complain when you have to buy it? Or are you upset about the sixty-bucks-buys-it-all pack? I can understand that, but, again if you enjoy Destiny.....
