All you taken Tots. You're about to graduate to sophomore class. Welcome in the new Iron Pups. They will be lost, they will have an enormous amount of content to not only catch up on but new to play.
To the KinderGuardians from taken king and house of wolves, you're the elite now. Forging your way through taken king and making your mark on the Destiny universe.
To my fellow day 1ers, we're old. We're chiseled from stone on the quests of the great ones. Forging our way through every raid, blind. Vanilla VoG will forever be our mountain top. We welcome in the new kids, to this wonderful world we call Destiny.

4 RespuestasIt's good to be a year 1 player. To have actually seen the game grow so much. We truly have an appreciation for what has been fixed and watch as the new recruits come in and cry out for nerfs. They don't know the grind for a real thorn, or the careful struggle that was a true nightfall only to get 18 strange coins as your friends got gallys, or forever 29. Looking back and seeing it all makes me really appreciate everything Bungie has done to make this game better. I look forward to the next chapter with all you Veteran Guardians.

Year 1/Beta Vet here, ready to welcome the Iron Pups. And Congratulations to the Taken Tots, you survived what was arguably known as the most content-dry of Destiny's 2 years of being here. For that, you are hereby known (at least to me) as Year 2 Vets. Let's hope Year 3 brings more content around.

A CELL FROM THE PRISON OF ELDERS

4 RespuestasY1, we were newborn guardians. We were loot cave runners. We exploited the crap out of those raids. We overcame TRUE nightfalls. We only used thorn, and shotguns in the crucible. We worshipped the Gjhallarhorn. We owned (or got owned by) Skolas. We kicked ass. Y2, we were god slayers. We collected masks for Halloween. We killed a god. We laughed with Cayde and Eris. We sparrow raced. We ran easier nightfalls. We owned a giant shank. We returned to the Prison of Elders. And in Y3, we'll be Iron lords. Y1 players have another year in their belt. Y2 players are out of their kinderguardian days. And we're about to have a fresh batch of noobs (Iron puppies? I'm not creative) coming. THIS IS AWESOME! A TOAST TO Y3!

2 RespuestasWell said. I started on the 26 of September in 2015, a day after my birthday and six days after TTK: the Collector's Edition came out. I remember logging on to Destiny for the first time, playing that first mission on the Cosmodrome, getting my starter gear, then playing that first TTK mission. After that, I was clueless yet so curious about the life of Destiny; I was hesitant to buy it at first, after hearing about the disaster of year one, but it ended up being all worth it, to say that I've played and enjoyed the game and it's community for about a year now. My brother and I are saving up money for another PS4 console by Christmas so that he can get the Complete Collection for Destiny, and it's a really special feeling to think that in going to be walking him through it. Now, I can say that I've finally taken ranks upon the elite. Can't wait for another great year.

.....and .....here....we.....GO! GAME DAY BABY

I don't know what category I fall in. Played with zeal right until Kings Fall Hard, and then took off before it came out. Am looking forward to returning, but just until Titanfall 2 drops.

OHHHH, The good old days. Alpha player here. I remember those days with a fondness, mostly. Pushing the Templar Pushing Atheon Sharing the EXOTIC CHEST Glitching Crota, I never missed Oh the things we used to do. Here is to hoping the rise is just as good.

1 Respuestaah the memories - welcome to all the new guardians - us day 1/ Y1 and beta vets are still here.
-
1 RespuestaI remember when I was KinderGuardian. I think the reason I stayed with Destiny is because from the beginning I had people offering to help me run through missions and strikes. Eventually my first Nightfall and raid. This community has always been so kind to new players, and I love you all for it.

8 RespuestasI remember my first VoG run. I was with people who had already gone a few times, and I swear I had never done something so confusing in my life. They were using words and shit that I had no idea what anything of it was.

I encountered a level 3 double digit grim score character in the cosmodrome on patrol last night. I thought you have both missed a lot but still have a lot to look forward to with regard to him/her.
