If you don't know Christians believe one our Core believes is that Jesus (who was one with God) died for our sins and rose from the grave and that whoever believes in him will go to heaven and sadly if you do not you go to hell
If you do not believe in Christianity Let's say for a moment it's true and that when you die you will have eternal suffering think your worst nightmare that thing that scares you the most and then think of it being there. there is no no hope of it going away all good thing have been striped away and all that is left is you and your nightmare for eternity
Well if there's even a chance this might be true don't you think it deserves a second look
To see why we as Christians believe what we believe one great place is stand to reason you can get to there website just by typing in stand to reason
one thing I'd like to clear up is that in the news a lot of the time Christians are stereotyped and hater, bigots, ext. please do not stereotype us as this we will stand are ground when it comes to homosexuality and trans bathrooms and that kind of thing but we want to communicate in love and kindness now we are not perfect and when it comes to these issues we sometimes make mistakes but please don't dismiss Christianity because of your experience with one church or person ,
The bullshit with these religions is whichever one is most dominant at that time is generally what most people will believe in, even if they're not fully devoted to that religion or atheist all together. They'd consider the primary religion as either possible or impossible most of the time and forget about the others. For instance, if Islam was the US's main religion and not Christianity, these threads would be much more aligned with that, or we'd have an alternate trump trying to ban dirty Christians from entering our country. Or we'd have the new age crusades on our hands. Or they'd be basing stuff more often off of Islam than Christianity and have things as they have been today that were affected by Christianity, in turn affected by Islam instead and the minorities wouldn't get too much attention. Then you got people whose religions directly affect others within their own context, even if the others aren't aligned with that religion. So like Christianity and Jesus. Believing and accepting him as your savior = heaven. Choosing not to, which by the way is an option you selected by yourself, you burn in hell. Wtf. I know you'll bring up the whole "die for your sins and you should be grateful" and all the cancerous mythical words that come with that shite, but nobody living today or that has lived in the past ever asked to be born, much less under some dude named Jesus who essentially indirectly forces you to worship him or else you'll burn in hell for eternity. What a great goddamn guy, I tell you what, folks.
Rant over. Had this on my mind for a few days now

sadly if you do not you go to hell
That is pretty -blam!-ing sad.

1 RespuestaNice fairy tale you've got there.

Personally I cant Choose what to believe. Over Half of Christianity Defeats itself, Ex: If Pre Destination is a Thing, Why does he not make us all Believe in him? And With Atheism, Christianity Proves their points wrong As Well. Ex: All Atheist Historians believe Jesus Was Real, But not the Son of God. What if he was?!?

25 RespuestasIt's perfectly possible that Heaven and Hell exist, but there is no scientific evidence of that. Therefore, I default to the neutral position. If God wants to send me to Hell for having a logical doubt, then I don't want to go to Heaven in the first place. I will gladly burn for eternity with Satan, who is actually rather logical compared to God.

Op what is your denomination?

This isn't a question, it's just another thumper trying to bring more sheep into the flock......

Catholics are encouraged to accept homosexuals with brotherly love (philia love)

11 Respuestas"Believe in my book or you'll suffer forever!" Boy howdy I'm interested!

Maybe Satan has tricked you into worshipping him. Have you thought of that?

1 RespuestaEditado por mulldoe: 9/18/2016 2:24:13 AMWow, that hurt my brain to read. Anyway, how do christians not realise that the very concept of hell either disproves what the christian god is supposed to be or suggests that "satan" has actually tricked all of you into believing he's god.
-
I... I can't even read that.

Editado por tjustie: 9/18/2016 5:51:29 PMSeriously though. It completely baffles me how literally anyone who's passed elementary school can type with such abhorrent spelling and grammar. Stop typing like a kindergartener. It makes it hard to take you seriously.

Did Christianity make you this terrible with English?
-
24 RespuestasNever compromise. If God would send you to hell for not believing in him, then I'd rather go to hell than kiss his ass.

12 Respuestas"We want to communicate in love and kindness." "Love and Kindness" "Love" Believes in a God that shuns love because he doesn't like the way it works even though he clearly advocates for love of all types. Except for homosexuality. Even though it IS love, and "we as Christians" love love, we don't like that one. That one is ugly. That's one thing i don't get with you people. You say you want us humans as "free" people, and yet there are so many rules under God.

Editado por bemo: 9/19/2016 12:35:58 AMWhat's the opposite of love?
Not hate, the absence of love.
What's the opposite of hot?
Not cold, the absence of heat.
What is the opposite of heaven? No heaven. I believe that hell is the absence of heaven. Cold and hate are relative terms. So is hell. God created us, why would he want us to suffer?

The suspension of reason and level of faith required to ignore that is an unreasonable request. If a god that does that exists, he is not worth it. I'll take hell, thanks.

1 RespuestaI don't understand the question. If you're asking if I know why Christians try to convert people, yes I understand a lot of it is for benevolent reasons. However persuasion through fear and emotion isn't going to convince people who base their beliefs off more rational approaches. If I based my belief off fear, I'd probably already be a Christian.
-
12 RespuestasYou know, I'm religious as well, but to me, you just sounded like you said anyone who's not a Christian will go to Hell, do you know how wrong you are?
-
10 RespuestasI'll take hell thanks. I'm not going to believe in God without a single piece of verifiable evidence, and if God punishes me for having completely reasonable doubts, I want hell. I don't think I want to have an eternal afterlife in heaven anyway.
-
Christians believe on faith and that's the problem. Very few have the integrity to admit their beliefs are based entirely on hope, and not on evidence.
-
7 RespuestasSo do you believe that if someone is not Christian then they will go to hell?
-
Honestly my worst nightmare wouldn't be that bad. Plus I'd rather enjoy my life instead of worring day in and day out that I may go to hell if I did something wrong.
