Did you see the Official Rise of Iron Launch Trailer included in This Week at Bungie yesterday?
That Iron Banner Titan gear. That is the most badass set of armor I've ever seen. In any game. Ever. That's straight-up D&D wicked.
And when the Titan and Hunter are running through that dark red-lit corridor and their armor glows red along the seams? Holy shit cool.
I regularly criticize Bungie's handling of this game and treatment of this Community, but it's important that I recognize the cool, the fun, and the incredible (rare as it may be). After all, that's why I play.
Now, whether Rise of Iron meets my expectations, who knows? I've fell for the hype before, and been disappointed.
But I do so enjoy the hype. It's really well done. Going to watch it again, right now.
1 RespuestaDude when the Hunter and Warlock area running in that pitch dark room with their armor glowing is my favorite scene.
-
21 RespuestasSorry to correct you, but the armor with the flames is the Iron Lord gear with its ornament. Iron Banner gear won't have an ornament.

1 RespuestaThat ToO titan gear... I had to change my pants after that.

1 RespuestaAnd thats part of the problem. Since the pre-release trailers, i always thought that they did very, veeerrryyy well at promotion, advertising and overall hype. It puts everyones expectations extremely high, then has alot of trouble meeting that hype within the actual game. I dont play very much anymore. Mainly because i got tired of this games nonsensical grind. I still bought RoI, and i will still play the crap out of it for a week or two, then move on to greener pastures, only to come back when a nrw event excites me or im bored. But no biggie. Ive bought games that i have played for a handfull of hours and shelved. Im sure that i will get my money out of it. The difference between this year and the last two is only my expectation. And where i place the scales for value. The game i originally fet the hype for never existed kind of like the easter bunny or santa clause. I get that now.

Agrreed looks very cool. They are so good at selling a product,i give them that. They could sell you a black and white tv and make you think its a 4K ,3d ultra hd ,smart tv. In the back of your mind you now its a black and white tv but you hope they are right. I think thats what keeps us around in the end ,the hope they will get it right this time around. Lets stay positive .

1 RespuestaYes and I'm so hyped! I Broke a hundred exotics and am very exited to see if they decrypt to new. The new gear and everything looks so amazing and I'm sure though contrary to popular beliefs, this will be a great DLC

4 RespuestasThe IB Titan helmet reminds me of Skyrim...
-
10 RespuestasSo, I just checked for myself and RoI apparently is only available as part of the 'collection bundle' for XB1....if it doesn't become available as standalone to those of us who already bought everything along the way so far, then adios amigos! I'll be uninstalling Destiny and deleting this app....

6 RespuestasHaven't watched it yet but sorry, my Hunter is currently the most badass Armor set in the game ;)
-
I remember seeing the chaperone in TTK trailers and everyone was like sweet can't wait to get my hands on that. Then A.) It's not that great and B.) To obtain it you have to complete a quest in which the first step is to basically maintain a 3.0 kd using a weapon that has been nerfed to death. Bravo.

1 RespuestaBump for a good positive post!
-
3 RespuestasBungie's strong points are visuals sounds & music
-
4 RespuestasThe Titan helmet with the horns reminds me of the Wampa from Empire...
yes, I am a bit of a nerd like that...
-
1 RespuestaThat iron banner gear looks awesome! Too bad the weapons don't.
-
5 RespuestasHunter gear tho, might have to raid with my hunter( never did, ever).
-
2 RespuestasIt is hard to always pick out the Iron Lord gear from the Banner gear but yes the Iron Banner Gear will be my go to armor yet again. It looks so so nice.

1 RespuestaThe armor does look great, and the iron banner armor is a good example of why it was important to drop support for the last gen systems. Those flame effects wouldn't be there otherwise.
-
1 RespuestaI really like the direction the armor and visuals are taking...they've contrasted ancient hammered style iron along with the new crisp and edgy futuristic space gear raid stuff. I don't like the way the new iron banner weapons look like the pipe guns from fallout 4, was hoping for the same old meets new(think Van Helsing's auto crossbow in look and function) but was pretty grossed out by them. I do like the rocket launcher but the other ones will most likely become infusion food. I am also really enjoying the new soundtrack, I turn my surround system up a little louder and don't push a to start as soon as I used to!

3 RespuestasI want to see titans with horns coming out there helmets and bad ass sh!t like that
-
I personally main a warlock but I am really hyped and happy with where bungie is going with armor I mean just imagine what they will do in the future!
-
1 RespuestaScrew the hunter and Titan gear. It's the warlocks who are finally looking the most badass
-
1 RespuestaThat IB Titan armor is all I want. Love it

5 RespuestasEditado por Orpheus49: 9/17/2016 2:57:38 PMSure there's cool looking armor here and there, the crucible set for the hunter looks good but the iron lord gear looks pretty terrible in my opinion, at least the version with the ornament The pelt versions look fine, but I've always hated the fantasy genre, so knights armor isint always my forte I'm a more generic enthusiast, sleek armor or minimalist look over accessories and crap all over.

1 RespuestaY3 is the year I get to the Lighthouse. That Trials gear is baller. Want to come with me man?
-
7 RespuestasNew gear is on par or better than vanilla gear, with the exception of the Trials stuff. Too Egyptian now for it to work on a neutral character.
