Too little too late, plus I'm not wasting more $$$ on content that is already in game and should have been brought forward in Taken King.

Why should it have been brought forward with ttk? If they had done so then we'd likely have gotten less content...

Editado por The 7th fall: 9/16/2016 9:15:01 AMHow does that logic work? Bringing in not only TTK but bringing forth VoG and CE relevance would of added more content because that's more gear that can compete with TTK. Hell going back to certain places woulda meant something other than a waste of time or a shoddy story built on the fly.
-
Well let's put it this way, if they spend their time working on bringing forward the old content then they have less time to work on actually new content.
-
Or put it this way, they were so easily able to leave everything behind by not only upping the numbers for gear/weapon defense/attack rating of TTK, but they also downgraded the numbers for the gear of HoW, Ce, VoG. Doesn't that suggest that it'd also be just as easy to put the numbers forward? I mean it sure as hell woulda saved some trouble for them by having to put in select guns from Crucible and Vanguard to bring forward, why not just simply up the numbers of everything else to be in line with TTK at the time hmm?
-
Cuz just upping the numbers wouldn't be fun. I know people want to re run the older raids but what would be the point of just upping the lvls of there's no other kind of challenge? Also if the older raids were brought forwards then it's more than likely that it would then make the new raid completely irrelevant. Why would you run the new raid if you can get gear that gives you the same lvl from the older raids that you know how to run? If they are to come back, for them to be more worth the gear we'd get then there needs to be somewhat dramatic changes in terms of challenges and strategies. Which would take a somewhat considerable amount of time, which bungie would likely prefer to spend on making new content. It's at least the way I see it.

Still doesn't change the fact that it woulda been better to just up the numbers. Or better yet give a good reason to leave the stuff behind, like oh I don't know giving us better stuff we want to go after rather than begging to go back for the better stuff. Lets compare: VoG offered roles that fitted with the raid such as anti oracle buffs, elemental damage, had somewhat decent looks for reskinning current gear, different arc types for guns overall, and offered one of the most unique exotic guns in the game... then compare that to KF gear which is odd to say the least for Warlocks and Hunters, primary guns offer no elementals, most if not all secondary or tertiary guns are crap, the buffs are non noticeable, arc types are mostly low to medium impact that can easily be outdone by most Vanguard or Crucible guns or even green-blue tier guns, rolls were too random on armor and the set rolls we get on the guns didn't do much to alter the guns, and sadly this list could go on. Simply leaving stuff behind for changes in challenges, strategies and obtaining new gear is not reason enough to gut 3/4ths of the content to only give us around 1/4th more that is utter sh*t. Had Bungie put some effort into it, cause they really didn't, to give us way better stuff then there wouldn't be so many complaints that old is better over new, and the question of why they gutted that much content for such a crappy DLC.

I think the main thing is that a lot of people are still hung up about leaving gear behind when there's new gear to be obtained, even I'm a little sentimental about some guns and armour but still. It's called progression. I wonder how people like this cope with playing borderlands... That and they relied too heavily on the elemental primaries (as did I of course) and the reason why elements were taken off from primaries is because that was all anyone ever used... And that's just dull... In a game where you're supposed to find your own style, then start using the same 3 guns as everyone else...
