Owl Sector Theory
Ok so today something called Owl Sector started taking over this game as an arg. Since then we as a community have been searching everywhere for what Owl Sector could be.
I started looking through the grimoire for anything that mentions owls but couldnt find anything. But in Rasputin 5, a subroutine called " Loki Crown" is mentioned. In the subroutine, it mentions how if people are under a serious threat, Rasputin will start a "noetic release". Noetic is defined as "relating to mental activity or intellect". Of course the 5 new boons guardians are finding in the game(brilliance, splendor, magnificence, glory and fortitude), are all states of the mind and intellect.
Now back to the name Loki Crown. Bungie is kinda known for their creative naming, and with Rise Of Iron having a Norse feel to it, the Norse god Loki might be involved. According to Norse mythology, Loki was a mischevious deity that could turn himself into a bird( sometimes falcon sometimes owl, like owl sector.). So Loki is both an owl and a god that likes starting messes, i.e, having a whole community search for some arg.
This is pretty loosely based speculation, but I think Rasputin sensed humanity is in danger and started that "noetic release" to warn us of an up and coming threat. Maybe SIVA?
This is my first serious lore post so feel free to tell me what your thinking or what i might have said wrong here. Thanks.

3 RespuestasYou are on the right track. Nobody has ever figured out how to reactivate rasputins warmind on earth. Our first mission in destiny was to coerce and reactivate Rasputin on earth but we never figured it out. I believe we missed a side mission in year 1 in the last array or possibly before. Bungie will continue to lead us away make new dlc to make money but the true side mission is in a year 1 story mission I truly believe!

8 RespuestasWe're definitely missing something about how it spreads, people saying you can only get it once and however many you get is what you're stuck with. That being the case how did anyone manage to get 5 when the first person infected only got 1 in the first place? At some point somebody got the 2nd one and spread it to others etc etc

I'm kinda thinking of not playing until Tuesday bc of it. I honestly just think though that the tower will be "shut down" Tuesday, and that's what leads to this ROI theme of the fallen breaking through the wall and unleashing siva

that room that everybodys been glitching into has something to do with for sure, the descriptions on the owl sector page and the location being in the dust palace, its all got to be linked in some way!!! this community always has a way of figuring these things out, im cant wait to see what it all means!!!

So most of the doors are closed in the Clovis Bray buildings. Except for one that seems to be broken. Couldn't find any other like it in the dust palace. It was near the top floor of the palace, above the atrium. The second time you have to wait for a ghost to open a door. On the left side (from when you walk in), the door on the wall is acting a bit strange. It seemed to be opening and closing when I approached it and I could not remember if it was always like that. Anyone remember if it has always been broken?

4 RespuestasKind of reminds me of the "Corrupted Blood" event in world of Warcraft where blizzard released a virus into the game. Low level characters were dying off. High level character had to repeatedly heal themselves to keep from dying. High levels and those not infected had avoid cities and go into hiding until blizzard patched the virus.

The buffs are SIVA but from our perspective.We have SIVA. We are infected. The SIVA Fallen you are about to fight have the same thing we have. Only different perspectives. A methhead feels like they are on top of the world but in reality.. Methface.

There is a grimoire card where a boy and his father talk about the times before the golden age. The boy looks around and notices that even the saddest face is happy. It reminds me very much of the mites that plague us now. Problem is I can't find the history of the last city in the grimoire. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
