Brand New Destiny ARG/ Scavenger Hunt!!! Brilliance 3.2, Magnificence 2.0, and Others!!
Hey guys! This is such an exciting time for Destiny. It seems that there is an ARG in Destiny!
People are getting awesome new buffs in crucible or by starting strikes! What do you guys think these will lead to?
There's 5 different "infections" a player can get. They all appear to provide an EXP/Rep buff, and the number of players who have each infection is being tracked on the Owl Sector site. As more players get each infection, the site appears to be updating with that info. Infections can be spread by killing an infected player or orb pickup from an infected player. So far, the infection doesn't seem to do anything unique in the Dust Palace strike (which is the current Nightfall).
"My current theory: As more players get infected, more logs get unlocked on the Owl Sector site. Pretty sure the "infection" has something to do with SIVA, as the first log states that the first reports came from the Dust Palace, which is where the hidden SIVA cluster was discovered. Clearly there's an ARG element to it and the more infections we spread, the further the ARG goes."

2 RespuestasIt all depends on your first kill in PVP. Whoever you kill first you will get all of there infections on your first game. If your the first person you kill has all 5 then you get all of them! Happy days

1 RespuestaSomething I've just noticed: The Vanguard table. Cayde is in front of a map sectioned by numbers that seem to run similar to the numbers in the infections. Additionally, the blue documents on the same table have very similar colors, layouts, and designs as the Owl Sector website. They all say H-90 on them. I haven't deeply looked into this whole thing, but someone more in-tune than I am might be able to use this to help figure something out.
