I'm so proud! Just received my first ever hate mail
So just to give this little gem some background, I'm a rather average player when it comes to Crucible.
Didn't even touch it seriously in all of year 1.
Anyhow, due to the content drought I've gotten into it a bit more. Still struggling at times but trying to improve.
So I'm on my 3rd or 4th IB match and was doing considerably well, actually finished with a 3.2 k/d.
I main a Titan since day 1, so I'm just trying to enjoy some downtime and working on bounties.
After like 2 minutes into the match I receive my first ever hate mail.
Lets just call him Randy the random douche.
Here goes:

Me: You'll get better eventually
[i]Randy: Lmao your bad, all you do is shoulder charge and fist of havoc, no skill in using them[/i]
Me: Lol ok. I think 0.27 k/d says all. Good job
[i]Randy: Wasn't playing idiot, the game before I slapped your whole team, the only reason you got that 3kd was because of your team lmao, nice gt btw you 50 or something? Lmao[/i]
Me: You're cute. Need attention much?

Me: Ok so you're saying I shouldn't use my character's abilities. Yeah makes sense.
Maybe play something that's less stressful for you

Me: So since you feel entitled for needing to tell me what you think, what should I use that would NOT make me bad? What's a great player like you using? Oh please do tell.

Me: Ok thanks for clarifying that. You just saved my weekend.
So all in all I got 19 kills, 3 or 4 with SC, maybe 3 with FoH. The rest just normal gun play.
What is wrong with people nowadays?!
If someone outplays me, I deal with it and get on, either admit he's better or I try to adapt.
Anyhow, this just made my day.

I had a hate mail once saying I didn't use no land beyond enough and just spammed the sidearm. I'm not gonna attempt to snipe someone jumping at me in close quarters all the time lol

yeah 3 or 4 sc is not really excessive, I main a titan, striker for the longest time, because well i wasnt good enough to use defender consistently LOL (using it now to get good, or try to). anyways, its annoying when people do spam SC, it forces me to switch to fusion rifles which is kinda fun to watch the charging titan disintegrate into loneliness and unfathomable sadness. I was ranking up my ib on the hunter this weekend and went up against 6 person fireteam all striker titans spamming shoulder charge, it was so annoying......... me an the 5 randy's destroyed the titans, almost double their score, it was annoying, but satisfying at the same time...lol i really don't know what my point was, just story time i guess.

1 RespuestaLol you came back at that guy perfectly. Also just remember that when you get hate mail, it's because people can't take the loss, so they act like 4 year olds because you are a MUCH better player than them :)

When you see a Titan, expect: Fist of Havoc, Shoulder Charge, or Hammer time. There are more annoying things to be killed by anyway :P

1 RespuestaGot hate mail for using Lord of Wolves yesterday in Iron Banana. Next match, dominated the exact same people and they (there were 3 of them on a fireteam) left halfway through. Way to let the other half down.

Yeah right there is one big problem with people - every one has an opinion. I had hate mail playing bf4 a couple of months ago. 108-2 in an LAV, got mail saying I'm bad... Yep.
