Bungie has made it clear they dont want classes having too high of a KD, yet we see that defender is just as low KD wise as hunters were high.

My ideas for buff: Super for super - make defender bubble CANCEL foh or nova bomb without killing the titan inside. Its only fair tbh. Pop my bubble but dont kill me too in the process. Opague bubble - make bubble see through from inside BUT opague when looking from outside. Going inside a bubble should feel challenging and unknown not just sliding in and shotgunning the titan to death. Healer - bubble should instantly heal anyone that goes inside. Im not talking about blessing of light but instant shield regen or health regen when not running blessing

11 RespuestasDefenders can do really well if they're coordinating with a team. However, solo Defenders tend to really struggle in the Crucible. Their super only makes a difference if the majority of the team pass through the ward to receive the benefit of blessing/weapons of light and use the buff to make an aggressive push. If you play solo, that won't happen very often. More likely, you'll make a bubble and get completely surrounded by enemies and they'll pop your bubble with their super (Strikers have a fetish for popping bubbles). Also since the super buff of the recent update, golden gun can pop it with one shot now and nova bomb is guaranteed to both pop the bubble AND kill everyone inside of it. The bubble should be able to tank those supers, it's only fair since all the other ones got buffed. Also, the Defender's neutral game isn't as good as the other titan subclasses. Sunbreakers have incendiary and fusion grenades, extra melee damage, and the ability to heal on ability kills. Strikers have flashbang and lightning grenades, extra melee damage, and shoulder-charge/juggernaut. Defenders have magnetic and supressor grenades, but that's really their only saving grace. The 'extra powerful' force barrier melee doesn't actually do any more damage than a regular melee, the Defender is the only titan class that doesn't have a buffed melee. Plus, it needs a kill to get a shield, whereas a sunsinger only needs to hit. Besides, the force barrier doesn't even absorb that much damage anyway.

Defender is the best class in the game imo. Edit- Facts. Ok. Well nobody said ANYTHING about defender until they saw the charts. BUNGIE didn't do ANYTHING about defenders and they have the charts. Obviously defenders are fine, people didn't even notice them being 'underpowered' until we saw the chart.

At least make it so the bubble can't be popped anymore. I think it would be balanced because you could still get rid of the bubble, but you wouldn't be able to just pull out a super and pop it safely. You'd have to either get lucky and kill the Titan while they're outside or risk going inside.

How about they make the bubble invincible. And make it so that if you equip the perk where it makes 3 orbs When it gets shot the bubble can be destroyed.

It doesnt need a buff, its just as good, if not better than most classes when used skillfully. Honestly, i could even say the best subclass, that if used by more people, would cause people to cry nerf. Nobody really knows how amaizng defender is because nobody gives it a long try. I main Defender PvP They probably wont buff it since they even said it shouldnt be good i pvp since its a support class. But if you get it buffed somehow, then you literally spoiled the game for mose Defender Mains, since they know its already really good. Buffing if would get it nerfed hard. #DONTBUFFDEFENDER

It's op in PvE, but it struggles in PvP. I know how to use a defender and being op isn't always about Staying Alive but rather Rocking Like A Hurricane!

You actually have to play with half a brain when using defender. You can't just run and gun. You are a choke point super and a team support. Save your supression grenades for when you have your super ready and use it offensively in a high gun use area. It amazing how a good defender can turn a fight around with right placement.

Friendly void abilities can go through the bubble, voidwalker could use the buff and Nightstalkers couldn't get their smoke through anyway
