Bungie has made it clear they dont want classes having too high of a KD, yet we see that defender is just as low KD wise as hunters were high.

Or maybe an active ability with a cooldown like a stronger Juggernaut perk that could be spawned by double tapping a button instead if sprinting.

11 RespuestasJust a couple observations from reading through this entire conversation. Full disclosure: Titan main. Defender primarily. 1. It looks like most people disagree with you. 2. Not only that, but the most eloquent responses have come from defender mains. If the people that play the subclass don't want a buff, how do you know better? 3. You reference the chart often in your responses. Although you are correct in saying stats don't lie, data can be manipulated to say whatever you want it to say. Google 'data manipulation' for context. 4. You often mention the term 'underperforming.' Notice how that term is different from 'underpowered.' Perhaps we defenders should start performing better. Ask anyone on this forum, do you feel underpowered with no backup plan and a party crasher? Or with an ldr and weapons of light active. Short answer...no. 5. I respect your commitment to responding to each post and would never ridicule another opinion just because I don't share it. Take care fellow guardian.

K/D ratio is not the only factor in how a class is performing.. Bungie took the information that supported their argument and made a chart to prove themselves right... if gunslinger and blade dancers had low KDR and high win rates we wouldve seen a different chart.. honestly, the only thing I find myself complaining about defenders is when I see or experience a striker just smashing the bubble.. and even that I can get over...

Learn the timing when to pop it and you can dominate with it. Bungie themselves said at the top 1% defender is the highest KD subclass of all in rift playlists. It's where I rock my defender and single handedly spawn camp the trapped enemy and have 6-7 bubbles in my best games. JMPDoubleX does it best and his commentary is hilarious. Over 4 kd on his titan. So in other words, learn how to use defender before you ask for a buff.

4 RespuestasThe only buff I want for defenders is that the bubble should either only go down when you kill the defender or if that is considered OP then it should at least use the entire other super to kill it (3 GG shots for example)
