Grasp of Malok is NOT overpowered
Grasp of Malok is not overpowered. Here is why. The grasp of Malok is a pulse rifle. Pulse rifle intended design was to be optimal for medium range and useable by someone with better thumbs then all you complainers at close and longer ranges. The only reason you think it's overpowered is because everyone has one. Not one person put up a post before omnigul was the nightfall saying it was overpowered. [b]NOT ONE -blam!-ING PERSON[/b]. You people are about literally ruin one of the rarest guns in the game because your ass has shitty gun skills. Please shut the -blam!- up. And [b]GIT GUD[/b].
Edit: Yes I know it's now rare now, but before this week it was completely rare to see

1 RespuestaI got one with rangefinder/brace frame/army of one. I love it. Like it better than the cb/pb/army of one. Grouping is smaller on the brace frame roll.

Yeah, tested it out. It's a 3 head shot kill with this thing. It's gonna get nerfed. The TTK is too favorable for them not too. Then expect a lot of glitches to where we can't play iron banner or trials again.

Grasp of malok, hawksaw, and nirwen's mercy are all different archetypes, however they all take three burst to kill. Grasp kills about two times as fast as nirwen's does and it kills faster than hawksaw. It is bound to get nerfed.

It's about to go the way of the ole Hopscotch Pilgrim. It may not be as OP and HP was, but they will deem it overused. And that will be enough.

pretty opd considering everyone will get a god roll, it kills faster than Hawksaw / PDX, and is now gonna be the new crutch weapon.. the crucible is about variety... not about using only one gun

4 RespuestasI helped some kid farm it today and he got a god roll (Red Dot OAS, Counter Balance, Perfect Balance, and I think Feeding Frenzy). He was so excited, then his toned changed and he was like, "I bet it gets nerfed now..." XD I got a similar one, except I got ORS-1 and Army of One - I'm not complaining. But the nerf is coming, for sure... No fun allowed...

In the space of a few days it's become boring and 'a crutch'. Although I've had a good one since the very first time I did the strike - I thought it was the reward for doing it - I always (used to) happily complete the Omnigul strike for a tiny, tiny chance to get another, hopefully even better one because it was my go to gun for crucible as it was. Now that's pointless because everyone has one with a great roll. And I need to find a new gun for crucible because I don't want to be part of this (having used it for a while I also know what beats it, and there is a lot). And it will probably get nerfed along with other pulses anyway because Bungie doesn't seem to think these things through. Bungie -blam!-ed up by manipulating the Grasp from being one of the rarest and most coveted guns to being the most common gun in crucible.

Heard a rumor that bungie needed more crucible data on the fast rof pulses so they setup the nightfall assuming everyone would be farming grasp and therefore using it [spoiler]and they were right [/spoiler]

Nothing is op. Players think if a lot of other players are using the same weapon it makes it op. It's not any stronger it's just getting used a lot because of the nightfall

4 RespuestasGrasp itself no. Pulse rifles are a bit too hard hitting/accurate at range. Anything past mid they should never beat a scout, and in close range they should have a hard time vs autos. Give them a shotgun style spread past mid range and they will be good.
