Grasp of Malok is NOT overpowered
Grasp of Malok is not overpowered. Here is why. The grasp of Malok is a pulse rifle. Pulse rifle intended design was to be optimal for medium range and useable by someone with better thumbs then all you complainers at close and longer ranges. The only reason you think it's overpowered is because everyone has one. Not one person put up a post before omnigul was the nightfall saying it was overpowered. [b]NOT ONE -blam!-ING PERSON[/b]. You people are about literally ruin one of the rarest guns in the game because your ass has shitty gun skills. Please shut the -blam!- up. And [b]GIT GUD[/b].
Edit: Yes I know it's now rare now, but before this week it was completely rare to see

I got the Grasp of Malok from my first tine doing the Lv 20 Omnigul strike. I also got the longbow from my first crucible package. I got the 1000 yard stare from a rare engram. I got the darkblade helmet from my first sunless cell strike. I got the treads upon stars from my 1st shield brothers strike. I got god roll Vanity from my first FWC package. And Fatal Vision from my 1st Vanguard package. So yeah RNGESUS LOVES ME!!!

23 RespuestasIf you compare all 3 pulse rifles, they all kill in 3 bursts (nirwens mercy arc, situationally 2 burst) Yet grasp of Malok has highest rate of fire... It's good at long range engagements and medium, sometimes short too. People are crying because they don't want their crutch taken away from them. Well step back and look a logic for once and use that unbiased noggin of yours and come up with a reasonable response.

It's the Doctrine of pulse rifles. Great at range, and in close quarters. I'd be more inclined to buff underperforming weapons long before nerfing anything though.

I agree that is not op. I been testing few grasps in PvP matchs. Problem that two perks was put in mix to make that weapon deadlier are half glass full and head seeker. I tried to get weapon that I can test it but no luck.

I agree the grasp isnt op but bungie is looking to nerf it anyways which is the reason for the omingual nightfall. As long as people complain there will always be a nerf. Bungie thinks they're being fair but they really aren't. If your not good at pvp either get better or dont play. But bungie assumes its because of weapons when the players themselfs are just better.

So happy with my Herja-d I've had since the start of TTK, that I haven't even bothered trying for a grasp. Hand laid stock, headseeker and feeding frenzy and Hakke pulse means four bullets at a time rather than 3 :) 2-shots depending on which mood bungie is in when it comes to weapon tuning and whether they nerf or buff it. Got it from gunsmith very first armsday.

Im honestly bummed they made omnigul the nightfall now everybody has a grasp and itll be nerfed to shit in a month. Glad i had my months of fun with it since december rip GOM

Playing crucible earlier .. nobody used it . Saw the last word and even touch of malice but no G O M . I don't know what all the fuss is about got one ages ago it's good but that's it. Maybe iron bana will be different bt I doubt it .

Can easily be out gunned by mida and hawksaw by good players. The only people calling for nerfs are the idiots standing out in the open thinking they are just going to snipe the whole game.

You can even move away from the cover (as long as you don't walk [b]too[/b] fast) and still have the perk active! Not the most useful bit of information but I found it out today, and decided to share it.
