When I first watched the Destiny rise of iron trailer. Being a year 1 player I noticed a very notable detail. OMFG THE GALLY IS BACK!!!!!! Then I noticed it was a pre order exclusive and thought. Wait I love destiny as a game but hate it in terms of business and profit. I already accepted that this is a game that has cost me 140$ pretty much 20$ wasted on past expansions and At first I never really wanted the taken king till I learned that you could hardly do anything besides story and Randomized crucible mode being the classic game modes.and now there trying to b8 kids into buying stupid dance emotes for 5$. I realize that that is just consumer choice but when things as powerful as the gjallarhorn being pre order exclusives. I can only ask when bungie/activision will force me to buy the gjallarhorn or a expansion that disables me to play what I originally payed for when buying destiny & the taken King?
Oh wait.

5 RespuestasYou're incorrect on two points. For starters, as the first 19 replies I read mentioned, Gjallarhorn will be open to everyone, just not the black skin for it. Also, you're incorrect that the expansion disables what you originally paid for. When Taken King hit, you still had access to all the initial story missions, strikes, raids, and Crucible maps that you paid for, just not in the format YOU wanted. No content was taken from you, just a reorganization of your way of accessing it. The only exception to that would be Trials. Unfortunately, Trials represents end-game gear and therefore would be unavailable to people without the current end-game content. Be honest here, EVERY game is pay to play by your logic. You can't be upset that you don't have access to end-game activities and gear when you aren't willing to pay for the new end-game content. That's a choice your entitled to make for yourself, you just shouldn't be complaining about the consequences of your own choices.

Why does nobody bother to know the meanings of terms before they use them? smh

2 RespuestasI will just say it. You are an idiot. https://youtu.be/qIA18L1ei58

At least they're keeping up with their promise of posts content bring aesthetic only
-
Gjallarhorn isn't a pre-order exclusive. The black skin ghorn is.
-
The preorder exclusive is the black skin, everybody can get their hands on a gally
-
2 RespuestasIt's only a pre order exclusive, because it convinces the consumer to buy it earlier. From late last year to this year, the price has tanked, and by doing this they can make money because no player would risk being kicked from a fireteam once again because they don't have gjallahorn

2 RespuestasSorry for my mistakes regarding Ghorn I didn't read that detail regarding the quest but I still will be disappointed if this DLC will restrict like the taken King did. Other than that OMFG GALLYS BACK AGAIN ps. Hope they didn't nerf it too hard
-
2 RespuestasOf Course it is pay to play. Unless you steal a game or are given one as a gift, you actually have to spend money to buy it. Some companies offer free DLC, others charge money. That's the way it works.
-
3 RespuestasWhere did it say you have to preorder to get the gjallarhorn? Only bonus for preorders is you get a black one. Everyone will get a quest to get one. I'm not surprised people ignore the details just to post something that isn't true.
-
Oh, please... not another one...
-
Life.....is pay to play.
-
2 RespuestasSo you expect to play for free?

2 RespuestasEditado por Dampfanator: 6/9/2016 10:19:16 PMLol did you even pay attention or did you check out right after they announced it? You get a skinned gally for pre-order everyone who doesn't pre-order gets the regular old gally. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT PAY TO PLAY MEANS
-
Editado por iFatum: 6/9/2016 10:58:25 PMYou can do a quest to get it bro... As for paying for it yeah every game does even cod and sky rim bruh
-
You can still get the ghorn, do not fret. The black ghorn is just a pre-order exclusive.

A black Gjallarhorn is the exclusive, regular Gjallarhorn is obtainable through a quest
