We all know what that means, it's going to get real!
Here's a trick I learned from a random that I met via patrol. His (or her) Gamertag is carma69 and he (or she) deserves all credit for finding this trick. Again, his Gamertag is carma69 and he (or she) found this trick, not me.
Here are my own instructions for recreating this trick.
1.) go onto "patrol the dreadnaut". Go past the exit leading to the Court of Oryx (on the right)
2.) go to the entrance of the first cave to the left of the exit leading to the court of oryx.
3.) face the cave.
4.) take a 180 and go straight until you fall off of the edge of the ridge, then turn around.
5.) when the enemy is moving against each other, it will spawn enemies endlessly. Get ready!
Requirements:
I recommend an exotic sword, preferably the Boltcaster because you don't need to be inside the cave to kill everything. For subclasses I would recommend a nightstalker with blood bound and light of the pack. I would also recommend either a Stormcaller warlock or a Sunbreaker. That way, you can chain super abilities and always be ready!
Want to take a look at the destruction for yourself? Here, take a look at this clip of me and carma69 wrecking shit up! carma69 was playing as a Stormcaller warlock:

A clip of me recreating the trick with a different person using a Sunbreaker Titan, who's Gamertag is FURRICANE, can be seen here:

The best part about this trick is that the hive majors that spawn in the cave will drop a lot of black wax idols and those items that give you 200 glimmer each. I got 18 from one single run which turns into 3600 glimmer. Not bad for 5 minutes work.
Edit: why all the hate on this, if you knew about this already then it doesn't affect you, move along

8 RespuestasEditado por The Sword Logic: 6/5/2016 6:18:47 PMVirtually everyone in the game does it this way... But I have some tips, too: These are about public events. Defend the warsat: you're gonna want to walk over to the WS and take out your ghost. This will start the event proper. Now (this is the important part) what you need to do is defend the warsat. If at any time you're like, "Hey. Maybe I shouldn't defend this warsat!?" ignore that thought; it's a common noob mistake. Eliminate the target: This one can be confusing. A lot of people see the target and they're all like, "Do I befriend that target and see if he wants to play The Division?" He doesn't; no one does. Don't try to befriend him- kill him! Hope these help. EDIT: Yo, OP. It's been brought to my attention by someone who sometimes lets me see her naked (like when Destiny is on maintenance or something) that my post sounds mean. It's not supposed to (which I'm sure you knew).

Pointless. Not a guarantee at any drops. I've tried this n got bored because no engrams drop. There's a cabal spot that does the same by the vortex spot from regicide. My favorite spot to do kill 50 cabal

I use zhalo on that part you have an infinite clip on low level enemies with double kills and it builds your super mega fast or use bad juju

4 RespuestasGood luck to you fellow guardian. Although it is a little sad that some guardians are only just finding out about this sort of thing. Sigh.

1 RespuestaYou're just now learning this? And you don't have to say "again it was this guy not me", we could just read it again if we really cared

I miss patrol being fun. The house of wolves patrol events was some of the most fun I've had in this game.
-
You can do this on every spawn point during these events. Just blow shit up! Doesnt matter what subclass you are (unless defender ofcourse, altho could also be usefull if with more people for spawning orbs) just stand there and destroy them as they spawn.
-
There are, in fact, two possible Hive spawn locations during this event.
-
I usually just stand in front of the doorway and let Zhalo do the work. On a separate note, how tough is the Imperial Centurion that appears near the ship entrance in the Mausoleum when the event happens there?! I've only managed to kill him (it?) with Raze Lighter but it took a full ammo capacity plus a bit more.

6 RespuestasIt's so cute when Taken Tots share their new-found knowledge. Thanks for sharing! I know you did it with the best intentions so just ignore all the snide comments from the other launch-players.

Please make a video of the whole thing!

Instructions needs to be more detailed

I just came to watch the destruction. I find it funny and relaxing to mercilessly kill the enemy like that.
-
If you start kings fall up, there is a spawn door up on a ledge where acolytes will constantly come out. I have confirmed it drops loot, and will be getting a short game clip up later to show it off. Either way, I found it 3 months ago and have yet to see anyone mention it, so I figured I'd bring it up.

1 RespuestaThis is why I don't usually go into the forums, OP, go and post this on r/destinythegame and flair it as an sga and it will be well received. The b.net forums are so toxic it's ridiculous
