Now Twilight Gap is one of my favorite maps in Destiny (next to Shores of Time) and has a whole lot of lore behind it, but there is one thing that has started bugging me recently. Originally, the Battle of Twilight Gap was part of the City's War against the Fallen beginning with the Battle of Six Fronts and then used to end with the turning point at Twilight. A new problem, however, has risen though and that is that the Battle of Twilight Gap is not part of this war. I have herd arguments for and against this controversy and am questioning which side is correct. Some input would be appreciated

4 RespuestasThe "war" against the Fallen is ongoing. The battle of Twilight Gap was just an event where the House of Devils and Kings and Winter formed an alliance against the City. That's kind of a big deal as Fallen houses typically hate each other so it not expected for them to work together. This alliance was broken at the Twilight Gap, at the cost of many Guardians, and the houses all went back to hating each other. It important mostly because a bunch of people died and it was close to the City. Then Feizel Crux looted all the corpses and turned them into Rocket Launchers.

The Battle of Six Fronts was a battle done against the House of Devils. Twilight Gap occurred many years later when a combined effort from the House of Kings, Devils, and Winter, attempted to seize the Traveler. The House of Wolves could've easily turned the tide of battle in their favor but they were held up by the Queen and Awoken in the Reef.
