Guys, it's something most of us have to do even though we hate to admit it..
What do you do or say to convince your better half to let (That's right, and you know it!) you spend sweet precious time playing on Destiny or let us say to game in general?
Oh, and before someone throws the word 'sexist' around, we all know what women offer ( or refuse ) when they want something. 😉
Don't take this too seriously guys, it's just a bit of fun.
The irony of this statement is just too good to ignore. You who sit behind your keyboard, spouting about the 'pussification of the new generations' which you are literally the personification of.
You see, the post was a joke. It refers to the eye rolls and compromise, the inside mechanisms of the long term relationship that I doubt you have any idea about. In fact, I doubt you've ever felt an adult relationship have you? If at all, but I imagine when you strain your little head to think of some quippy comeback that you've been married for 20 years.
Here's some advice kid, and the rest of you teenagers on the whole "If she loves you, she should let you do whatever you want" bandwagon should listen up too;
When you eventually grow up and find hair on your nutsack, and then one day possibly find a woman who for some unknown reason to me decides that you're worthy of spending her life with - You will realise that actually yourself and your own happiness isn't your main concern anymore. You'll soon have responsibilities, and you won't have as much free time as you think you will. When it comes down to choosing whether you're going to play on the PS4 or spend time with your wife, it's no hard decision, and that's called being a real man.
2 RespuestasEditado por dukesniper27: 5/22/2016 1:37:26 PMWell, I am one that cooks , cleans, irons , and work. My wife's sole responsibility at the moment is my 3 month old baby. By 9 I am finished with everything that needs doing for the day, so I play for about 3 hours per day.

3 RespuestasI sure do love being single lol

6 RespuestasMy girlfriend and I are both daily Destiny gamers so I don't have to do anything for her to let me play xD :D

The struggle is real. I'm not gonna say "if she loves you, she should let you do whatever you want." As a matter of fact, if your significant other EVER says "do what you want", then there's most likely a problem that needs checking. lol I've been married for 10 years to the coolest chick I've ever met. We live our lives and meet in the middle so there's never really any issues with this kind of thing. As cheesy as it sounds, when it comes down to it, it's all about respect. Choosing games over life is what children do. Be a man and you'll never have to 'convince' your wife of anything. lol

It's a hard, balance. Boobs will always change your mind about starting a raid though.

1 RespuestaTell them you are going to go play video games. If they have a problem with your hobby, that's on them. Don't ask permission, if you do, you are a cuck. That being said, still make time for them, don't just play video games all the time. Been in a year long relationship, almost been living together for a year too, ( odd situation, but was really helpful and cost efficient at the time). This is what I do and we have no problems. Any chick that wants your undivided attention all day, everyday, is not worth the headache, you'll spend more time contemplating murder than you will having fun with them.

23 RespuestasBelieve it or not woman will eventually respond better to just being told what's up. For instance most women really can't make a decision, so asking them if it's ok to play video games is asking them to make a decision which in the subconscious of their minds, pisses them off. Then the answer is most always no. I tell my wife what I'm going to do when I'm going to do it and tell her if she doesn't like it then I guess she gets to go somewhere and be pissed off without me because I don't want to be around it. It's a total shocker at first but it doesn't take long and they eventually understand and you will run the house again before you know it. No person should be in a relationship where they have to feel scared or any kind of guilt to ask if they can play games in their own house, that in itself sounds like a bad relationship and one waiting to go down the drain. You have to be honest and you have to do what you want to do (within reason) for a relationship to last. Married with an 8 year old kid here so don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about

Me: "hey babe, got shoot ppl for a while." Babe: "have fun" That's pretty much it.
-
The wife has to get up early so she goes to bed early. That's my playtime.

2 RespuestasCook and clean... The lady came home, smelt dinner in the oven and I had a broom in my hand. Got some right then and there

1 RespuestaShe is too busy making sandwiches to gripe

I usually play once a week and its on a weekend after my lovely wife is asleep. Or she can be very distracting if I play when she's up if you know what I mean... Many a flawless run stopped early by a body stocking......
-
Luckily my fiancé plays with me. We have our own PS4's. If she doesn't want to play Destiny she hops on Minecraft and i play whatever I want. Just don't let that be the only thing the two of you do together though.
-
I just say I'm playing destiny and then I play destiny. She goes and does something else
-
1 RespuestaMy wife plays Destiny w/ me. She also has sex with me. It's a win/win really!
-
I'm single so I don't have to deal with this issue. :)
-
If you're in a relationship where your partner doesn't approve of what you do to relax, but you're sacrificing for THEIR relaxing, find another relationship. Better yet, find someone who plays video games too. You'll have one more thing in common.
-
My wife is a gamer too She mainly plays Rpgs

2 RespuestasI have been married for 7 years. I am super lucky that my wife plays fps and other games before we me. We didn't play anything for the first 3 years of our marriage because that time was spent getting to understand Union and find compromises that led to a happy marriage and life. Now. We both play destiny together every day. Our date nights involve time online together (after dinner-movie-sex time). A great marriage involve give and take. She reads books while I play guitar or go skate. We make it work. If you care passionately for gaming and you married a woman that doesn't let you do it. Either you didn't tell her before you married or she is trying to test you. Make her happy and she will want to see you happy.
