Guys, it's something most of us have to do even though we hate to admit it..
What do you do or say to convince your better half to let (That's right, and you know it!) you spend sweet precious time playing on Destiny or let us say to game in general?
Oh, and before someone throws the word 'sexist' around, we all know what women offer ( or refuse ) when they want something. 😉
Don't take this too seriously guys, it's just a bit of fun.
The irony of this statement is just too good to ignore. You who sit behind your keyboard, spouting about the 'pussification of the new generations' which you are literally the personification of.
You see, the post was a joke. It refers to the eye rolls and compromise, the inside mechanisms of the long term relationship that I doubt you have any idea about. In fact, I doubt you've ever felt an adult relationship have you? If at all, but I imagine when you strain your little head to think of some quippy comeback that you've been married for 20 years.
Here's some advice kid, and the rest of you teenagers on the whole "If she loves you, she should let you do whatever you want" bandwagon should listen up too;
When you eventually grow up and find hair on your nutsack, and then one day possibly find a woman who for some unknown reason to me decides that you're worthy of spending her life with - You will realise that actually yourself and your own happiness isn't your main concern anymore. You'll soon have responsibilities, and you won't have as much free time as you think you will. When it comes down to choosing whether you're going to play on the PS4 or spend time with your wife, it's no hard decision, and that's called being a real man.
1 RespuestaHaha you're just dumb trying to sound better than everyone else. Find someone with the same interest as you and it won't be a problem. Get some hair on your nuts

2 RespuestasLet's just throw, straight out the window, that every couple is entirely different to the next. There is no "Right thing" to say or do in general, there is only the "Right thing" for YOUR relationship. That doesn't necessarily mean it's the same for someone else's relationship. Speaking about adult relationships, then generalising. Good lord....
-
I married a gamer. We've never had an issue. Actual adult relationships aren't like the insecure high school relationships. When you grow up, you'll see that you and your partner are on the same team; it's not some battle.

2 RespuestasI'm only 16, so I don't really have experience with the whole wife thing, but me and my girlfriend play destiny a lot, and now we spend a lot more time together both on screen and off and our relationship seems a lot healthier
-
My girlfriend HATES this game. But she has no say so for if and when I play.. She does her thing and I do mine.
-
3 RespuestasI'm married with a 1 year old daughter, and it used to be the source of a lot of arguments. We have pretty much decided on 2 nights a week that she will watch her TV shows in the room, and I play in the living room. I'm playing less than I used to, but also less arguments. Works out pretty well.

Girlfriend: Acting like you give a damn.... Marriage: not giving a damn what your significant other is doing....

Thankfully, my wonderful girlfriend enjoys watching me play. She's not a big gamer (only likes Mario Kart even though she rages) , but likes the concept of the game. I've tried getting her into it but she is hesitant. She does like to make fun of me when I raid though with the stuff being said... >_>

2 RespuestasEditado por SilentWarfare13: 5/22/2016 5:21:12 PMMy girlfriend is damn perfect in this category. I could play video games for 6 straight hours and she'll just be sitting there watching Gossip girl or some sh*t.

5 RespuestasWow, this post has shown me how spoiled I am. This usually how goes when I get home from work Me: "Hey babe. What cha doin?" Her: "reading" Me: "Oh, good book?" Her: "reading..... Your plates in the microwave" Me: "Thanks babe, I'm gonna eat and play games" Her: "K" Then when she's done reading she usually talk to me about my day while I play. She really doesn't care
-
Why play when they want to spend time with you? It's a video game ffs
-
2 RespuestasEither introduce her to games so she can see how fun and relaxing it can be or bring up that she does things and you don't complain, where's the harm in sitting and playing a game? This is why I'm so glad my boyfriend likes games and plays with me sometimes too. It's nice to have some thing or a couple things in common or its not going to work out later on if she gets too possessive or controlling, trust me. Lots of my guy friend's girlfriend or wives literally unplug their system mid-game just because she was out with friends and he was playing a game, what sense does that make? She's not home, so what's the problem with him finding something to do. At least they're not out doing crimes or anything illegal of the sort.

Your post may come across all wrong to the fairer sex but..........it's so true I showed my wife this post and she gave me a funny look........ Then agreed

2 RespuestasMy missus hates it. That's why I wait till she's sleeping lol. Pussy power is real but don't forget the vast majority of ppl who play this game are virgins

Editado por Fadoodling: 5/22/2016 5:20:16 PMBrainwash a woman into wanting you because you have a hold on her until a protein called "Nerve Growth Factor" wears off. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0306453005001976 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21701998 You're on a time limit in most cases of 6 months to 3 years unless you get lucky. Hopefully she won't practice infidelity during that time period but these so-called "pansexuals" these days think it's cool to be fluid like Miley Cyrus although Arthur Schopenhauer said there's more weight to being polygamous than monogamous. His entire masochistic tendencies derived from the fact his father prematurely ended his life from a fall due to his mother practicing her extra curricular activities. You know there's no cake, right? The cake is a lie! Oh yea... Let's not forget the real reason we're here. Let's tar and feather all Crucible laggers and PvE laggers!!!!

Me and my girlfriend play together, so, don't really have to worry about that
-
I gave my wife a copy of the game and a headset. Now she can join when i'm playing, and never has to stop nagging. Try it. Wives don't complain about us playing, and we have someone to team up with.
-
I really don't ask, I paid for the TV,I paid for the PlayStation. I don't have a go at her when she's watching her soap operas. When she does start having a rant then I just ask her would she rather I was in the house on my game or out with the lads in the pub?
-
I work nights, so when I get home her and the kids are asleep. I play then go to bed. On my days off we spend time together first and then I'll play.

2 RespuestasEditado por dukesniper27: 5/22/2016 1:37:26 PMWell, I am one that cooks , cleans, irons , and work. My wife's sole responsibility at the moment is my 3 month old baby. By 9 I am finished with everything that needs doing for the day, so I play for about 3 hours per day.
