3 Respuestasthe other night a kid joined my team at Oryx and I asked him if he's able to hit his knight. He said yes of course. I jokingly told him if he misses he will be kicked and no one would help him (plate 3). So we get to knights spawning and the first thing he says is "I cant get my knight" and the whole raid team went off on him (jokingly). It was fun

4 RespuestasNot in my raids. Someone messed up? Give it another shot. Take as much time as you need. I let people know ahead of time that no experience is needed and I'm only looking for chill players. I play for what ever block of time I have whether I fly through a raid and have time for other things or not. Gaming is gaming and I'm having fun. It's fun when I'm a part of a well oiled fire team and we crush the raid. It's also fun building someone's confidence as they tackle the raid for their first time.

People can't snipe their knights because they are too busy complaining about aim assist and never using a sniper in the first place :D it all comes full circle

3 RespuestasSome times the knight can glitch though. I have had him jump behind a rock and the acolyte eye burns me down. I have also shot him 3 times and it barely scratches him. 95% of the time its not an issue, 1 shot and he is down. But there is that 5% that sucks when it happens.

I practice by sniping them. The tension kinda help me really because if I can't snipe them then I don't deserve to raid. It's like a thing I do haha

Did HM for the first time yesterday. I was 330 light with a 327 1kys and I was killing knights with one precision shot. It's really not that difficult, especially when they stand there for a second and let you shoot them lol

That or just call it out. It's not a big deal just communicate. Sometimes you get lit up on the platforms. It's better to just bail and have your raid team help then be a hero. That is why the bubble strat is so good. Lots of support.

1 RespuestaJoined a raid a few weeks ago. Everyone was 330 light except me. I've never heard so much segueing and bitching because no one wanted to be the guy on the platform alone to snipe there own knight and help with the other. It's really it hard. In the end I was sniping my knight then quickly jumping up to help with the other knight.

10 RespuestasI'm sorry, these rage posts about people who don't know how to do certain activities with other vets of the game are becoming extremely convoluted. Before you or anyone else was a vet, you had to learn from someone. Whether it be YouTube, Sherpas, or trying it out on patrol, there are certain mechanics to the raids, ESPECIALLY to those who don't know the speediest way to complete a section, that aren't quite spelled out in the midst of boomer knights shooting you, thralls rushing you, witches spewing shit at you for this new guy to hear above all the other comms (if there is any) to focus on/control certain portions of the map... all while trying to complete this puzzle that they have NEVER experienced because they keep getting booted out of fireteams because of their inexperience. If any of you have jobs, I'm sure you've run across the situation where it's either you have a degree or experience that's required of the position, but life only allows time for ONE of the required criteria to be fulfilled. Yet, because you have 10yrs exp, you're not qualified cuz you don't have a degree. Or you spend your life for a degree, but have no experience and you are still unqualified. Same concept albeit towards a video game. People get booted/raged at for going and an WANTING to learn to raid, but don't know what's going on. You want better LFGs members? Train the masses and advise them to pay it forward to anyone else. Chances are, you'll end up with a better pool of people LFGs that are capable of the raid because someone was patient enough to explain what they needed to do in the sections.
