So it's like buying a new weapon over again!
Edit 1: holy hell this post blew up
Got some great ideas going on this. Keep it going and get it trending so bungo sees it!
Edit 2: I see concerns that everyone would have God weapons. This is why the cost of rerolling has to be high. And a lot of people already pay for weapon engrams at the gunsmith. Basically we just doing the same thing except for its on the weapon of your choice. I would even be ok with 100 weapon parts. Max glimmer. And 200 marks for a chance at reroll
Edit 3: perks... A lot of people I see here saying get rid of the useless perks. While I somewhat agree. The useless perks ha e to be there so god rolls are not everywhere.
And I know how this sounds when I want rerolls.
But with the cost being high. I think it would be fair
Edit 4: very good ideas
Customization
Let us reroll scopes
Specific perks
Middle tree perks
And they all have their own cost of marks and can be only done once a week
Or on arms you you turn your weapon into the gunsmith for a chance to have a reroll like how arms day works
Very good ideas

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they considered that or something similar good call guardian.. Now where are those admins and ninjas at?

Re rolling should come back...it is just stupid when some people are able to get a gun with a good roll and some get it with a bad roll, rng doesn't take skill. Especially when it comes to trials, it can make a difference. For example, I have opened 45 crucible packages and no longbow...some people open 1 and get one with a great roll and Im still using the quest line 1000 yard which yes, is good, but you can get much better. This can make a big difference and is unfair for pvp

4 RespuestasEditado por AMC_07: 5/12/2016 9:53:30 PMRerolling needs to stay in the past. It will take away the diversity in guns used that bungie has been aiming for. We would only see certain guns with god rolls being used like party crasher and matador back in Y1. We don't need that again, no matter what the cost.

How about 50 marks but you have to choose individually the main perks, secondary perks, or barrels/scopes
-
NO pls no don't do this to the game, weapon drops become useless, it would not help the game at all.
-
Never again.
-
Game is better off without it IMO

4 RespuestasScrew that 150 mark stuff. It should be brought back just like how it was, but it won't be brought back. The system is set up to be grinded. If you had your choice rolls on all your weapons you wouldn't need to keep grinding for better rolls. Bungie doesn't want that. They want you running strikes over and over trying to get engrams/strike weapons/etc. or playing crucible to get a better roll on playlist and/or package weapons. While I understand the logic of wanting to keep people playing and grinding, I think it's overall unfair. People who have better rolls can outplay opponents with similar skills. Re rolling weapons evened the playing field and that's why I liked it.

9 RespuestasEditado por Qeylis: 5/12/2016 6:53:32 PMOr, one re-roll per weapon type (primary, secondary, and heavy) per week. You loose access to said weapon for a week, while the gunsmith works on it for you. At the end of the week, you get a random roll (not predetermined like Arms Day). You pay 40 marks, or a 5000 glimmer per re-roll. This could be applied to Armor as well. Take it to whoever it's for (Vanguard, New Monarchy, Crucible, etc.) they keep it for a week, and when you get it back, it will have a new roll. Edit: BTW, Raid armor would be Eris.

1 RespuestaEditado por BXR Lonestar: 5/12/2016 9:37:18 PMReroll for 3 marks, not 150. Its good enough for infusion, its good enough for rerolling. Bottom line is we grind hard for weapons. If we get a crappy roll we shouldn't have to grind hard all week to get more marks just to get another RNG-influenced chance to get rid of the crappy roll. We should get a lot more than 1-2 rolls per week. Who cares if people can obtain "perfect" rolls. Its better everyone has access to them than to have god-roll weapons accessible by only a few lucky people through RNG. [Edit] If everyone at least has access to god-roll weapons, people no longer have the excuse that they are killed in PVP because someone is using a superior/OP gun. They can simply reroll till they have the same gun, and then the only other factor besides the ever present lag is skill.

3 RespuestasThat's too high... 20 marks is just fine
-
15 RespuestasI'd pay silver. You have no idea how much time I've spent chasing a Godroll eyasluna.
-
good idea. I spend 135 marks every chance I can on legendary special engrams in hopes to get a "god" rolled 1K stare, LDR, or Longbow and always get some shitty fusion rifle... At least this way Ill be rerolling a weapon I want!
-
Just get rid of take a knee danger close surrounded replenish vacuum Scouts need to lose whose nxt final round Icarus needs to be a HC only perk And give us perks we care about
-
That will be amazing................... but is Bungie, nevermind.
-
Plz bungo
-
Nope. It sucked the variety out of the game.
-
I'd say for 100. Make it a little cheaper than purchasing a brand new weapon, and people also can't spam it 200 times for God rolls

5 RespuestasEditado por WulfPak666: 5/12/2016 5:37:01 PMWhat this game needs is more perks that are worth using. I swear, every single archetype of weapon only has like 3 perks that almost everyone uses because they are better than every other perk. Ex. From what I've seen people who want "god roll weapons" Doctrine type autos. You need stability and pretty much any perks besides stability boosts are not worth your time Same goes for pulse rifles. If you don't have stability with full auto, head seeker or some range boost, its useless. Handcannons, stability and range or gtfo. Shotguns: range and only range. Fusions: range and stability. Snipers: stability and aim assist Scouts: stability/ firerate and stability (or ammo ie. Triple tap) It's like, unless you roll with "this" perk and "that" perk, no other combo of perks really matter. Just like in House of Wolves (and even now) If your shotgun did not have Rangefinder and Shot package with rifled barrel it was pretty much "damn dafaq is this crap" And why is that? Because everyone who did have those perks, their shotgun was 98% better than yours in every way. I just think it is funny how out of the 1,000s of perk combinations, everyone just wants the same 4. Like, when have you ever gotten a gun with Exhumed and Danger Close and thought, "damn this is epic!"

3 RespuestasEditado por EpitomeofLowQuality: 5/12/2016 7:24:17 PMInstead of Legendary marks, why not have an item for rerolling like Glass Needles? It could drop from Heroic Strikes/Nightfalls or have a chance to be decrypted from Legendary Engrams like Shards and Energy. That way they can't be farmed by the dozens like Legendary Marks/Glimmer to take away the prestige of End Game content, but they could still be obtained as many times throughout the week proportional to the players time put into the game. I'm thinking have one drop every 2-3 Heroic Strikes, and have a chance of 5-7 of them dropping from Nightfall. They could be called "Vex Chronospanners" after an unavailable item in the database. There is already a portrait for the item and the name implies that you are reworking time to reapply the rolls.

4 RespuestasI'm ok with this idea, just as long as it a high cost to do so. So you can't just sit there and spam until you get god rolls.
-
RE rolling weapons is a bad idea. Legendary marks are as easy to come by as glimmer. All this will do is destroy pvp just like it did in year one. Felwinters lie with shot package and knee pads... nuff said
-
No that is all good day sir.
-
100 only, allows two rolls from being capped out.
