Second Batch of Melee Fixes are Live
Yesterday we turned on the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/203691077?sort=0&page=0]first batch of melee fixes[/url]. Those were the safer fixes. After monitoring the feedback for the last 24 hours, we are comfortable leaving them on and moving along to the riskier fixes. We're about to turn on the second batch of fixes and things could get weird. We will be monitoring your feedback in the comments below as well as the Feedback forum, just use the tag [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Topics?pNumber=0&tSort=Default&tType=None&tg=maymelee]#MayMelee[/url]. Go punch some enemies [b]in Destiny[/b] and let us know what you think.

As a gunslinger I know feel that if I'm in storm caller melee range I will now melee ( no lung but the basic melee ) instead of throwing my knife.

What has changed? In my experience: blade dancer locks onto targets making it super easy to use. Shoulder charge still misses. Meles still deal no damage yet take my charge away. Dumb.

On occasion my bladedancers stab wont register. Alot less than before but it still happens.

The Titan shoulder charge is worse than it was before. I phased through someone and they killed me! Fix this shit bungie

Honestly I've played once since the second patch went live and I don't see any improvement. I only play as a Titan, and my melee still whiffs a lot of the time.

Never had issues landing square titan punches to the faces of many people. Rain Blows is my favorite perk, puppeteer control scheme, and an aggressive play style always have me great results in my melee game. Never had issues landing melee until the update. In my experience now, I'm swinging at air, and my lock on animation punches never connect now. In my experience, this update needs undone. Melees are just worse. I've been playing since beta and I'm familiar with distance and screen dead zones well enough to understand what should and what should not connect. I admit when I miss I miss, granted. But I also know when I should land and connect, especially the animated "hit" melees. Red bar is still an issue. seeing too many people with poor connections almost tripling everyone's score too. Can't feel comfortable close anymore, so I just snipe. Nothing hard about sniping.

2 RespuestasSunbreaker Titan melee didn't register twice today in PoE even though the enemy was burning, but the hit itself didn't damage him

2 RespuestasI run a void walker warlock and before the patch I did not have any issues with my melee. I am sure other people may have especially other classes, but I had not. Since the update however, I have been having problems with my melee. It seems to not hit people like it use to. In many cases I have come in close quarters with a shotguner, seen my melee animation, but caused no damage to the other player, meanwhile I'm dead. Before the patch I would have traded off with that player and we would both die. I understand if they are full health they won't die, but no damage is even being done to them whatsoever. I have been getting very frustrated at the game lately because this has happened many times. Also, when I start a gunfight with someone then duck around a corner I seem to die after I am already behind the corner. This has also happened a lot, but could be do to lag possible, but I needed to mention it. I love destiny, but please look into these issues because I can't be the only one. Thanks!

So I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but the Warlock melee seems broken. I mean it's not doing anything (in pvp, haven't tested in pve). I can hear it register but it does no damage, no burn, nothing. Not sure what you did or if it's just me.

I play with a warlock and a titan, the warlock's melee seem fine, but my Titan can't punch anything, I think 1 out of 10 lands, I know the titan range is close up, but I can't believe how many swing and a miss I get!!!

Hunter melee is broken. It just doesn't connect. Target acquisition is crap.

While still experiencing lag in the odd game I have found the melee changes to be good. It used to be if I ended up in a fist fight both of us would die pretty much every time, even when I landed the first shot. After playing over the weekend I was consistently winning these encounters, and vice versa when they hit first. We'll played bungie

3 RespuestasSo far so good. Forget the whiners that can't see beyond 1 class. I play all 3 and love the melee changes. Warlocks have range, Titans have charge and hunters are sneaky backstabbing SOBs:), like they should be. Hard to get quality feedback when most people only log into complain, I'm sure you all know that and your datasets and number crunching doesn't lie. I rarely have issues with lag or red bar gods. I've encountered the situation maybe once in the last week. Keep up the good work. As long as you're working on improving, you're heading in the right direction. Thanks.
