Why doesnt gunslinger have shield ?
Seriously the gunslinger is the only super that needs the shield but it is the only 1 that doesnt have it. Im tired of getting killed by a 1 shot to a shotgun when im at super animation same with some granades.

Golden Gun is awesome the way it is. When i play on my hunter, its all i use.

Umm... Throwing knives. Also your super can be used across the map and is a one-shot kill with no travel time.

Roaming supers should always be activated behind cover! In rare occasions (Stormcaller >>> Landfall) you might do otherwise but usually you just pop them behind cover not while surrounded by 9999 enemies.

You're running around with a one shot weapon with NO travel time. You dont need a shield.

Gunslinger doesn't have armor because it has incredible range and accuracy. You can dome people coss-map with zero risk. If you're popping GG with enemies in proximity, that's a risk you take. Therefore, you suffer the consequences.

3 RespuestasThe trade-off for being able to 1-shot people rapidly from across the map even if they are in their super too. You shouldn't be activating it when enemies are so close they can instantly shotgun you. It's not a panic super.

12 RespuestasI like how people are completely glossing over the fact that Hammer of Sol gets a damage reduction, as does Radiance, and both of those Supers can have an Overshield up that will in fact tank a shotgun point-blank or a sniper headshot. I don't think there's ever been an instance where I've popped GG, or any Hunter Super, and have lived through getting headshotted by a sniper or taken a shotgun within range. Nova Bomb gets a DR when you use it, and there's armor that makes you harder to kill while you use it. Same goes for Fist of Havoc. Fact of the matter is that Hunter Supers really don't have any defensive mechanism built in to make you not vulnerable when you use it, but just about every other Super does, and just about every other Super has the range and stopping power of GG/SS.

Because it can one shot at any range instantaneously. Honestly the moment you see someone as a gunslinger they should be dead. Thats why it doesn't need any shields

Because it is the golden gun, the original broken weapon, passed down since 007. It doesn't need anything else.

I use GG as a hunter and it doesn't need the shield. If you don't charge into rockets or other supers all you have to do is kill the person attacking you by hitting them once before they kill you and then heal some and attack again.

GG doesn't have a shield because it can accurately shoot at great distances. If you're getting killed often (which you aren't) then you need to approach your engagements more carefully. You're called a gunslinger for a reason. It's your job to out-shoot your opponents.

Because all the other supers require you to be right next to an enemy, have travel time or aren't insta kills. GG gives you 3-4 instakill bullets with no travel time or range drop off so it would be beyond op if it had an overshield.

2 RespuestasGunslinger is most offensive super of the game. You trade all your defensive skills to an offensive one shot cross map fast rate of fire skills. And you have 3 bullets. You deserve to die if you use it badly.

because it is 1 shot kill super? w long range? and can explode you? and kill an entire team w 1 shot?.

Because golden gun has extreme aim assist and accuracy. You don't need a shield.
