How to get hatemail in patrol......
Sit down in front of a Cabal major (or any enemy major) spawn point.
I was called a c*** for doing just that, and when I told the person to calm down a bit with the language he proceeded to call more a c*** again.
Some people just don't relish that this is just a GAME.
Anyone else get hate mail for something stupid?
Edit: So a lot of people are either failing to see the point of the post or fall into the same category as the person who sent me the message.
For starters: when I real life issues comes along that I have to quickly take care of, I am not going to put the game first. If that means I interfere in some way with someone else but accident, then so be it.
But the point of the post: there is ZERO need for swearing at random people who you don't know what their doing. I was NOT being a troll on purpose, and I moved out of the area the moment I got back and people started doing their runs or what ever once again. No one else at the time cared except for one guy who got really ruffled.
But hey, I guess a lot of people on these forums are quick to judge, result to name calling or agree with the statement that I am a c*** because I put my son before a video game.
Go ahead, continue with your salty, misguided keyboard bashing. It is rather enjoyable to see how many of you are so quick to judge and it is truly sad.
Remember, it is a VIDEO GAME... you guys judging me need to understand that.
Edit 2: This community is disgusting. Now you guy's believe that the only reason I mentioned my son was to use him as an excuse for my douchebag behaviour? When the reality is not one of you knows what's going on in my personal life and therefore not one of you guys can make an assumption like that.
This community sickens me, getting all high and mighty, name calling and defensive attitudes... over a video game. That is so sad.

3 RespuestasAs a father of 2 sometimes i dont have that amount of time to go to orbit or leave an area. Or to turn off the console. If my kids need to be addressed that instant thats just what i do. I make sure my fatherly duties come first before i even turn destiny on or think about it. But there is those moments sometimes that things happen and you need to be quick on your feet and drop the controller. For those that dont understand that i have no apology for. So call me a douche or dick or ahole or cun,t. My kids call me the best dad in the world. And thats all that matters to me.

So you sit at a spawn being a douche in a GAME are then pulled up on it yet say its only a GAME .....suggestion go out into the real world to get your jollies instead of just being a douche in a GAME.

To be fair, I do find this really annoying. However, I've yet to send someone hatemail for it. I just leave to find a different area, or re-enter the battlespace via orbit. It is pretty simple as a solution.

I was farming a bit this one day on Mars, at the starting zone where the vex and cabal fight, and this one guy comes to the middle and just sits there preventing the enemies to spawn. So, me, not wanting to leave i send him a message: [i]" Could you please move out of the way, i'm trying to farm a bit here.
