More Matchmaking Server Improvements Inbound
The [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/202859304?sort=0&page=0]last few weeks[/url] we have been rolling out some improvements to our Matchmaking servers. These improvements are laying the groundwork to enable our team to more easily tune settings in the future, [b]but no Matchmaking settings are being altered today[/b]. Today at 10am PDT we are making these changes to all remaining playlists. You may experience longer Matchmaking times as we make the switch, but this should be a relatively short period. We will be monitoring your feedback closely. Stay tuned for updates.

Whatever these changes are, even if they're not intended to actually change the experience on our end at this point... They've made all the social areas and the crucible wretched. Mobs warp around the map in Patrol. Some, like the Taken on Earth, don't even appear properly - only their black smoke shader shows, with their models invisible. In Crucible, I'm either on a full green bar, or a tiny red bar and unable to damage anyone. There seems to be no middle ground. For reference, I'm on an uncapped 1 gb/s line out of Hong Kong, only five hops from PSN. I have zero networking issues to anyone else, and ping 110 ms to the US.

This -blam!-ing company tells you they're not doing sbmm, then does it anyway, then admits it but tells you they're going to cbmm but then does sbmm just to shit on everyones face. I can't wait until destiny 2 flops. Refer back to this post if you're wondering why.

Wait, you people are getting matches and not just error codes? This guys jealous, bungie is proving to me that they don't have what it takes to meet such a high demand of playing.. In turn it's going to be hard to buy destiny 2 if the servers aren't strengthened. I can't even complete a simple mission without a weasel error code. Not to mention I'm only in BC, it's not like I'm playing all the way in India ffs

Every time you guys talk about these matchmaking server "improvements" the crucible becomes a lag fest. You can have a full lobby of green bars and still shoot air and get headshots. Or 100% get the headshot and dudes head explodes like 3 seconds later. Just stop messing with shit!! This past iron banana was a bit better in terms of lag, but as soon as i start seeing these sticky posts in tje forums the crucible gets sooooo trashy with lag.

1 RespuestaCBMM is the only way to go. SBMM is an absolute joke considering you have varying skill levels that clearly aren't taken into account. I have a 1.8. Some of my other buds have 1.2 and .8. But let's match you against 3 guys with 2.0+ and yellow/red bar. Crucible was extremely enjoyable before SBMM was introduced. I know they said that they wanted to make Crucible a little more challenging instead of having teams get absolutely steam rolled game after game. But the thing is if you go into a match with a fireteam of 6 and get paired with 6 randoms, of course it's gonna be lopsided. What honestly could be done is freelance game modes across the board. They did it for 3v3. Might as well add in the other game modes.

I have been playing crucible all day trying to get the Chaperone and every game I join is full of magical warriors that one hit me every time yet I can't point blank shotgun them...I use to like this game but now it has simply become a joke

For the love of all that's good, get shot of sbmm and shitty damage ref. Shots not registering, teleporting guardians and all with intermittent green and red bars.

Sometimes I'm even with a yellow or red bar and I have 300mbps Internet. No way it's my connection. I speed test it during this time and I'm getting over 200 WiFi. It's on your end. I'm sick of being lag killed by someone I can't see until they walk over the top of my body. There was an afk player in inferno earlier that took a whole mag of hawksaw to the head and then a whole mag of my side arm and only half his shield depleted. He was just standing there! Whatever you've supposedly done has made things even worse. I genuinely love this game but you are killing it for me and everyone
