More Matchmaking Server Improvements Inbound
The [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/202859304?sort=0&page=0]last few weeks[/url] we have been rolling out some improvements to our Matchmaking servers. These improvements are laying the groundwork to enable our team to more easily tune settings in the future, [b]but no Matchmaking settings are being altered today[/b]. Today at 10am PDT we are making these changes to all remaining playlists. You may experience longer Matchmaking times as we make the switch, but this should be a relatively short period. We will be monitoring your feedback closely. Stay tuned for updates.

Lately I've been getting into more games that do not have full fireteams. They always have some red bar players. I've even come up as a red bar player once recently, and I have gigabit Internet! I do like sbmm to an extent, but when it means red bar players, 4 vs 3 matches (when it should be 6 vs 6), and I get connected to someone who is hosting but has far worse Internet than myself it is quite simply broken. If the game had a larger player base perhaps sbmm would work better.

One of my favorite things to do is my crucible weeklies but literally every lobby has red bar warriors teleporting and not taking any damage. Why the -blam!- am i playing in the same lobbies with people from the Middle East, Japan, Brazil, and the US when i live in Europe ? Oh that's right, it's a more even matchup because we have similar stats, who cares if they don't take any damage. And when i do get matched with other Europeans, it's usually some Italian connection warrior that lags just as much as the people who live on another continents.

You bastards were supposed to make the meelee registration better. But it's just as bad as it was before. Bladedance hits still don't register properly, meelee hits don't register when you blatantly point blank hit someone. Honestly how pathetic.

2 Respuestasi'm reading alot of bad reports and I hate to pile on but.. i've been playing pvp as well.. so many red bars on each team.. latency is worse, matchmaking times are worse. I would seriously be ok with shutting pvp down completely and overhauling the entire thing for a week or two if it meant these issues finally were resolved. feels like everytime changes are made it gets worse.. my biggest complaint is the latency issues between players.. please, set internet minimums or swing the ban hammer. these laggy, crappy internet players really ruin the game play for everyone.. You talk about having 30 million registered users.. even if 2/12 guardians are red bar and laggy were removed from the pool thats still 27 million players.. are you telling us you can't loose those 3 million players.. or are your numbers really not sufficient enough to rid us of the plague

I don't how you've managed it but matchmaking is worse than ever. I've just spent a good couple of hours playing Crucible and have encountered red bars in every game I have played who are essentially invincible. The latency us so bad that half my shots aren't registering, even against players with a good connection. Crucible is a mess and needs a serious overhall.

Whoever told you guys that CBMM=easy match needs to have their head checked. While it's true i would see more players who are of a lower skill level, I would also see the players WHO ARE WAY BETTER THAN ME. I'm an incredibly average player so it's not as if I'm so good I'll only be playing against noobs. I want the opportunity to play against all skill levels based on connection status. As it is now i can only be matched with a small group of people who are the around the same skill level, scattered around the planet. Not only will I never improve but it makes matches a boring, lag filled affair.

1 RespuestaToday I had two friends online, both playing control in separate matches. Both went through matchmaking and played [b]2 full matches each[/b]. Meanwhile, I watched their scores through the friend menu, [b]while sitting in matchmaking[/b] for control, the whole time. Never found a match. Why? Why is this happening? If the people that handle this aspect of the game do not know that this kind of thing is an issue, then they are not doing their jobs properly. If they are aware it's an issue, but are doing nothing to fix it, then they are still not doing their jobs properly. Please explain to me why this is acceptable. Seriously, I would like an answer. *My connection is fine, btw.
