If you say it doesn't kill you, that reason is shit, nothing 1 shots you in this game except a sniper headshot, supers, flux, fusion, magnetic and rockets.
Thorn doesn't 1 shot but it's considered OP?? You people make no sense when you say it doesn't kill you.
Bungie probably didn't nerf It cause the bad players need it to be a little decent.

Your "video example" was basically 3 heavily wounded guardians decided to sit on top of each other in a trials match and a grenade cleaned them up (almost any grenade in the game could have pulled that off in that clip.)

All gone for this one grenade, which at maximum discipline, can only be thrown once every 25 seconds. That's why the Sunsinger isn't overpowered at all. Because that grenade essentially [i]is[/i] our super. Think about it this way: If all the Sunbreaker had was their fusion grenade, the entire subclass would be incredibly useless. Luckily, that's not the case. They've got the [b]Hammer of Sol[/b] on top of it. A medium-ranged, one hit kill AOE explosion - and you can chuck like 7 of them. This is regardless of their armor stats, so they can build for intellect and have this hammer fairly often. The Sunsinger on the other hand, upon activating their super, gets what? An instant kill handcannon? No. A flying leap that decimates everything in its general area? No. How about an imploding star that's summoned from the void itself? Still, no. Then what do we get? More grenades. Grenades that have a number which is actually dependent on how we build our Int/Dis/Str. Grenades that can be instantly shut down by almost any other super in the game. That's why the Sunsinger isn't overpowered. Because that one grenade is all we have. No Sith-Lightning, no throwable Orb of Purple Doom, just a grenade. You take that away, you take away the competitive usefulness of the entire subclass. I understand that it's annoying to counter, but it is balanced. Believe it or not, the Crucible isn't a class war. Warlocks kill each other with those things too. Stormtrance on the other hand? Yeah, that could use a good nerf. [b]Edit:[/b] Incorrect number, apologies.
