who thinks knifes should be dropped as loot for the hunters
like a solar knife that has some stats like a gun

Maybe the option to equip no weapons, so when you have no weapons equipped each class has an individual melee weapon animation. A hunter could be holding a knife, a titan could hold his fists(boxing style), and warlocks could hold a ball of space magic in its hands. They could even have separate melee animations for these modes.

As long as it's quest related and the other classes get something new also then sure but nobody wants a CSGO situation.

No stats I think. 1 more thing for people to cry about. But cosmetic changes would be cool. Especially with throwing knives. Would be hard for other people to notice but would be cool to the player

Secondary weapons seem cool and honestly I think that was what bungie first attempted with artifacts but failed due to them having horrible perks
