Some y1 vanilla guns coming back, not clear whether your saved guns in the vault will be able for infusion or if only obtainable through drops. Seems the community is biased on this.

I often wondered why it wasn't this way in the first place. I hope these updates continue, and we finally get coming to us what should have been here last September of 2015 (if not most by Sept 2014, except for anything Taken - because they weren't here in 2014). I hope the BS stops about removing things, and then bringing them back. They should all just stay where they are, and let the expansions.... I don't know.... EXPAND!!!! As in bring MORE to the game, instead of simple replacement.

12 RespuestasIt's the "Etheric Light system", just a LOT easier to obtain Etheric Light. I love it. Bungie has obviously figured out now, that Etheric Light was genius, and it should live on in some form. I honestly wish they had kept that system instead of infusion. It just makes more sense that you put LIGHT into your armor to make it stronger, and not infuse two pieces together to make them stronger.

I would have just changed infusion so exotics infuse at the same rate as legendaries. Honestly, I hate the idea of 1 to 1 infusion. We saw the effect of giving people rewards without much work a year ago with House of Wolves. The result was that it was boring.

9 Respuestas1:1 infusion has only happened so they can drop gear at level 3 and stop the "Pay to Win" micro-transactions on the sterling chest armour. I actually preferred the old infusion system.

May as well seal-the-deal and bring back etheric light but make it an incremental upgrade (+10 legendary/+5 Exotic) and let it work on any legendary/exotic y1/y2 add etheric light to the loot tables of VOG and CE - maybe put it back in nightfalls/IB/TOO

Great updates however Deej needs to shave that red rat off his face. I find it hard to watch the stream with that jazz on the screen. Also too bad prof browman wasn't on the POE stream the week before screaming like a girl and wiping left right and center. I was looking forward to seeing if my hearing aid works from the last time. Instead we get Cozmo yawning. *Slow Clap*

If I am not mistaken, you still have to hope on RNG in terms of light value. 1:1 infusion is great and all, but if you are still finding items that are 1 less or more light off of max level....back to forever 3X9...lol Don't get me wrong, this is definitely a step in the right direction....but this should have been a non-issue quite literally YEARS AGO.

5 RespuestasI don't think it fixed the game, still plenty to be done/improve, but I do think they took a big step in the right direction by fixing infusion. Bringing back some year 1 oldies was also a nice touch. BUT they should have just went all out and brought back our prized raid weapons, that REALLY would have given them brownie points. I don't care what their stance is on elemental primaries, it was a mistake to take those out of the game.

I'm honestly super happy with the update. A bunch of people are complaining, but they have to remember: its basically only the live team making this, while the larger part of bungie is working on the sequel to destiny. They've excellently implemented activities and items with what they have, and I'm happy about that.
